Horrorcow Andrew Ditch / Andy Ditch / The Poopsquatch - Middle-aged diaper and scat enthusiast. Pretends to be autistic so that his mother will change his diaper.

The Crinklz Criminal got mad plot armour
Oh fuck, his poor parents actually coughed up the bond. They are SO going to be on the hook for the full thousand, you just know Andy's gonna bumblefuck it up and blame his 'tism and his processing issues. Stop 'buzing me!

Newp, parents are off the hook, Popo just let the Poopsquatch go. Poor bastards, it won't be long before he's back in another hospital somewhere else in Greyhound bus range and then another jail cell.

Pr(personal recognizance ie no money down) bond. He signed himself out. And theres a motion to terminate charges. He's skating and nobody had to put any cash on the barrel head.

Andy seems to believe there is a clear distinction between 'mentally ill' and 'autism'. Whenever people accuse him of being schizophrenic, or his family say he's unstable, he denies this. He doesn't want intensive psychiatric care for validation, he just wants live in nannies and nurses to treat him like a baby.

I feel like this just proves that Andy is not the brightest bulb out there, even if he doesn’t have an intellectual disability. Most people, even those who don’t know anything about the treatment of developmental disabilities, have some understanding that being institutionalized is not a great experience. Especially to someone who has a greater intellect than a four year old and wants more than just watching cartoons in a day room all day.

He’s not wrong that people view and treat mental illness a lot differently than development disability. The mentally ill will be given intensive treatment and the hope and expectation is that they will make progress and get better. People also tend to coddle them less. Who are the public going to ‘ohhh poor baby’ more? A mentally ill homeless man who’s digging through the trash and angrily muttering nonsense to himself, or an adult with the mental capacity of a 4 year old rocking back and forth yelling “EEEeeeeeEEE” while squeezing a fidget toy?

Andy understands that only one of those people will get a free place to live and diaper changes. What he doesn’t consider or comprehend is that while the western world has deemed letting helpless adult children wander the streets and forests until they starve is fucked up, we instead dump them in institutions to rot. A place that takes on people who are so severe they need help with literally every ADL (including toileting) is a place where the residents get all the bad parts of being treated like kids. They have no agency, choices or freedom. And as much as Andy wants to be cared for, he clearly can’t stand not having full control. If he’s not catered to or the hospital isn’t up to his standards, he loves that he gets to check himself out and leave.

The ideal situation he wants- a nurse who does everything for him and listens to his every whim and request while he plays video games all day in a state provided apartment, does not exist. Unless he becomes a quadriplegic I guess. But then he’d have to learn to use the internet with a mouth stick and that’s too much work.

I look away for two days and Andy's case is remanded to Cleveland Municipal Court and he's been ROR'd? Surely this can't be the end of the Squatch's legal trevails. What say you, citizens of the venerable city of Cleveland?

Two cases, two warrants, ten charges. I'll be surprised if he's not back in custody by the end of the weekend.

Wait, he was released at one point? Haven't really paid attention to the case all that much.

He's out on a $1,000 personal bond (you don't pay anything up front and the court releases you on the condition you show up for future court dates). His warrants in Cleveland won't violate the terms of his PR bond because they're technically different jurisdictions.

how they get an admit to the hospital is beyond me.
Cops don't want to deal with them/nothing to arrest them on: hospital.
If the hospital doesn't have Psych on staff they might have to wait until the business day for a Mental Health Evaluator to give the legal and official OK that this person is decisional and isn't going to kill themself. EMTALA means ED has to treat and stabilize anything that presents, to the best of their ability.

ED staff figured out he's faking already, but you need to have that in official writing: one of the Joint Commission "goals" for the last few years is suicide prevention/screening. ED physician's job is to fix sick and injured people, and the increasing amount of bullshit is frustrating, but unless they're near retirement they're not going to put their neck out and BH diagnose when they're not a specialist. You know all those sanctimonious news articles about how someone got kicked out of an emergency department in their gown by the big mean hospital and now they're struggling on the street? Some of them probably have cause, but some of them are Andys, and the hospital isn't allowed to comment.

There is a huge shortage of mental health resources all over the US, especially acute inpatient. If you have no scruples and barely any care about your future, presenting at a hospital without a behavioral health department and threatening suicide will get you a few days off the street as they construct their own ass-covering before discharging you with a cab voucher. There's a chance you'll get transferred to an inpatient bed across the county, but that's really unlikely, and by the time that bed would open they'll have figured out you're faking, and be prioritizing some teenager with sutured arms.

that makes sense....i imagine that is why they have suicide/depression surveys for people to fill out when they visit the ER now. personally, i would rather cut my own arm off than be held on a 72 hour hold in a hospital, with someone watching my every move, even in the bathroom. that said, he wants this, so he can play out his gross and bizarre fantasy of being helpless and needing diapers.

It is, yeah. Suicide Prevention is National Patient Safety Goal (NSPG) 15.01.01. The Joint Commission (hospital credentialers) website offers links to free/recommended screening tools and guidelines that will allow you to pass the standards they set. Most hospitals took them up on it and just use the Columbia scale:

Not giving medical advice, but if you have a realistic amount of sadness and are coming in for, say, pneumonia, consider how much honesty you wish to give about idle thoughts, because it will become A Thing. Of course, I mean if you just think about death now and then like the average man thinks about Ancient Rome. It's like not mentioning the one cigar you had in the last six months because your friend had a baby, because you will trigger Smoking Cessation Counseling and all you wanted was a tetanus shot.

If you come to the hospital because you're worried you're going to off yourself, that's a different ballgame. Even a hospital with no mental health clinicians will keep you safe in the moment and work on a safe discharge plan, it's just going to be slow and a bit ungainly until normal business hours start.

He most likely will fumble the bag

I'm new to this guy, and here is what I don't understand: He wasn't a tard before his car accident, right? From what I am seeing, he used to be a functioning member of society and behaved rather normally. After the car crash, he became this weird autistic baby pee pee poo poo diaper goblin, something doesn't add up. Is he an actual tard or is he just really dedicated to the act to get people to play along and change his diaper? I've never heard of people who start behaving like this after an accident, brain damage or becoming a vegetable are one thing but this isn't it.

It's the ick factor. Chrischan is easy, because you would just laugh at the funny autist making sonichu comics, and playing guitar hero. But Andy? When you watch Andy, you know you're watching a guy who shits himself, and tries to make it everyone else's problem.
i feel that but honestly chris chan is just as ''ick'' but in different ways, i mean chris chan still blames others instead of owning up to his own consequences for his choices, he has played victim throughout life, maybe not to the degree of andy ditch, but they both are pretty high level cringe, but, i will give chris chan one thing: he never smeared feces on a hotel wall or anywhere else for that matter. chris chan also does not call the cops or other resources to try to use various systems and resources, ill give him that too,.

His parents and brother were unbelievably patient with him. How he's only now been permanently booted is one of the greatest example of lol/horror cow plot armour.

In most other families, Andy would've ended up homeless or in jail a long, long time ago.
its not that they are patient with him so much, its more of the guilt factor as andy is so manipulative he makes them feel guilty, plus they are passive-aggressive , so they hate and despise what they go through because of him, but they wont take any steps to change their situation aka: get rid of the problem, instead they choose to be miserable and just accept that ''it is the way it is'' , very unhealthy mindset and lifestyle but many people are like that.

dude i've been in the lolcow sphere online for a long time. i'm familiar with degeneracy. and while there are worse people out here from a moral standpoint, this fucking guy is one of the only ones that i literally can't watch.
there aren't any funny moments, no troll antics, no trainwreck appeal... there's nothing that could make it so i could stomach listening to this actual waste of air bitch and cry and whine about getting "bused".
he makes me sick to my fucking stomach.
