Ethnicity is a far more useful and precise indicator / term than race. Race is a pretty lazy term and only really factors in to diluted settler-descended populations like in the New World, Australia, New Zealand and Southern Africa (though even then there are pretty big divisions between Afrikaners and Anglos).

You can't always tell someone's ethnicity just by looking at them. If you put a Briton and a German next to each other you wouldn't be able to tell which was which unless the German had very prominent Germanic features. (And I'm talking about if you get the purest Briton you can find and the purest German you can find, as obviously there was a lot of European mixing throughout the centuries, making many ethnicities even harder to separate by eye.)

But the one they put all their hopes in -- Telomere extensions -- currently causes turbocanceraids and kills you stone dead whenever they try it with people. So that's at least part of the reason why they didn't have families, didn't build up the next generation, justified being a kleptocracy, etc etc -- they thought they'd live forever, so why the fuck would they give up THEIR power and THEIR wealth and THEIR time when they have no intention of going anywhere.

Agreed, and that's why the groups that have been working to weaken or destroy the US for their own ends have been working to subvert education for decades. Depressingly, it is going to be a long slog to fix the damage. People do need to be reading the Constitution and Federalist Papers, but without a strong grasp of written English, good luck understanding them. Literacy has gone down these past couple generations. Most people today couldn't identify the parts of a sentence or tell you what an independently or dependent clause are; see common misunderstandings and misrepresentations of the 2nd Amendment.

Part of me wishes that people had to pass a written exam testing their understanding of the Constitution before holding any elected or appointed office. Then I look to history and remember just how easily that could be perverted and weaponized to further entrench the elite Trump is fighting against.

Boomers wanted to be young adults forever.
Gen X wanted to be college students forever.
Millennials want to be teenagers forever.
Gen Z wants to be middle schoolers forever.

Etc. Eventually, we will have a generation of Americans that resents having to leave the womb.
