Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Suprised no one has mentioned it yet but looks like Skeleton Crew is coming December 3rd.
It looks so soulless. I hope Jude Law asked for a bigger check.
Truly shameless with the stranger things/ speilberg influences arent we? I know Lucas used lots of things from Earth and history as inspiration but everything from the disney era just feels too on the nose. Like they took the first concept and ran with it without revising things at all.
The difference between Lucas and Disney/LF is that one looked at other creations for inspirations and the other is chasing trends.

Imo the Vong were always one of the worst part of the EU, but considering the shitshow Disney Wars has now become, they are probably going to loot every last bit of content they have their rights on to quickly throw a new trilogy together.
I initially hated the Vong. Vector Prime intrigued me, especially with Nom Anor from Crimson Empire making an appearance, but Dark Tide pretty much killed my interest, then I was forcing myself to keep up with it. Then Edge of Victory made it interesting again, having a subplot told from Vong perspective and going into their society, politics and culture. Then Traitor came out, I read it in one sitting and I fell in love with the series.
Now I think that Vong are fine, my only problem with them is that they aren't alien enough.

Fuck, back then they actually had decent SW game too. Not just some shit-tier Ubisoft goyslop.
They know they can't make a good game. That's why they released a remaster of Dark Forces some months ago and a remaster of Bounty Hunter today.

I really don’t get Mandalorian or Boba Fett fanboys.
Boba was a mystery - always masked, always silent. You want to know who or what is under the mask.
Mystery was solved in Episode II but the fandom remained.

WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY HAVE KID-SIZED SPEEDERS?!

What purpose would that have? Kids weaving in and out of traffic at 200 miles an hour going to school?
In-universe I would explain it as speeders made for smaller aliens like Aleena who are about the size of a human child.

But you just know they won’t even bother with that.

What is up with Disney and their need to constantly take classic alien designs and slightly tweak them? I guess the elephant guy is the same species as max rebo... but different?

Max Rebo had a strong neck to hold up his big elephant head and had proportions that looked natural. The new version thing looks like every cheap, oversized, animatronic head from the 90's.

Since EmpLemon turned into a whiny faggot, I stopped paying attention to him. Is there anything worthwhile in this video?
I don't know what you mean by "turned into a whiny faggot" since he stopped being a faggot after departing Youtube poops.

He starts fellating the RLM Phantom Menace review, not just over being influential, but for being correct. So no.
You guys are incredibly quick to dismiss him on small bullshit. What exactly was wrong with the RLM Phantom Menace review anyway?

It's the more sober, analytical version of "George Lucas Raped my Childhood" and some of its advice--like no politics and hiring JJ Abrams*--was used in the Sequel Trilogy.

*Hiring JJ was actually in his Star Trek 09 video, but it was also a crack at Lucas.
