It's like they're WANTING to create extremists. People don't come out of prison less angry when it involves protestors. They're sending people who are sick and tired of being second class in their own nation and sending them to a place in which they will become actual criminals.

Politicians are sending the public to the gallows for the mess they created; a mess labour created and a mess the conservatives didn't clean up. This is fucked up.

They're going to extradite people under what precedent? Suddenly this is possible but targeting the Islamic hate preachers and foreign scammers is impossible? I fucking hate living on this Island. I really do. The government can't organise a piss up in a brewery and has sacrificed this nation to the wolves.

They won't seriously go through with it. It's a stupidly expensive and protracted process. We hardly have the resources to extradite people who're wanted for actually serious shit let alone some shit poster.

If the government starts pissing away big money on shit like that it'll only get worse for them after the last budget was cutting spending and deciding to freeze pensioners to death because apparently there is no money.

Aside from this being a Labour government elected partially on the back of tory austerity and their first move is to make it worse, it would also show they have the money for what they want to do, just not to stop Mable freezing to death.

If they also decide that means tax raises (after promising no tax raises in the run up to the election) then that's just another section of the public pissed at them.

I think even the Canucks might balk at the idea of extraditing citizens for this. It's one thing to punish their own people for things they did in Canada, but sending them overseas to answer for the crime of "being mean on the internet" is a whole new level. It'll probably spark mass protests there as well.

In my company the most well paid overseas positions is there and warzones, that should tell you enough about how nice the place is for a non-muslim.
