Tl;dr: most twink enjoyers don't like them, average gays don't like them, gays who would date femmes can like them depending on how far they go with the transition (but femme enjoyers are a minority among gays), bisexuals in denial date the ones who go extreme.
Of those who date them, some are delusional gay/bisexual men who tell everyone that they're straight. These are the ones who usually date the troons who go to extreme lengths to look like women but most are just straight up gay men and their troon partners know and accept their gayness. Hell, to call some drag troons "straight women" would get gays struggling to tell you you're wrong and why without saying the quiet part out loud since they date gays. The troons dating gays don't necessarily go full femme and they have a slightly wider pool of femme daters depending on how far they go with the transition.
