Muslim are only 6% of the population and probably half that in seats given how concentrated they are. Labour gave up on the Muslims after Nick baited Keir into saying Israel has the right to cut off Palestinian's access to water. Around this time it also became clear that they would win the election no matter what and it was just a question of how super their super majority was going to be. The extent of the damage was a couple Labour candidates lost their seats to independents and there were a few close calls, most notably the health secretary who narrowly avoided being sent to the Jobcentre by a Palestinian girl.
