Doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. The irony that most Poles are Catholic just adds that extra twist of ‘wtf, man’.

The situation in NI is still shaky, even though it’s been quiet for many years. The two populations still rarely mix. It seems loyalists are increasingly feeling left out in the cold by the U.K. govt, and Brexit really stuck two fingers up their arse. Given how the Ulster Unionists have kept Tories in power repeatedly over the years, the govt would be bloody stupid to assume they can ignore NI politics and loyalists will always blindly support Westminster.
