If there's an open convention at the DNC, they're toast. That's even going to fuck with the down ballots at this point.

If they have to switch VP candidates, they're toast.

I think that at this rate, it's Kamala or bust, because they have no choice now. The media is hyping her up as the "new hope" and the one "reinvigorating optimism" among Democrats ... You take that away at an open convention, and you'll get a shitshow in November.

I hope the open convention happens. lol. I just think that it would be impressively stupid to do it at this point.

Vance isn't just Trump's Veep pick. He's now the heir apparent of the party. And being several generations younger than most Uniparty mummies makes him a target.

They've ran out of things they can say about trump or actions they can take against him. The word fascist has probably been used many hundreds of times the amounts of the last 80 years just inside the last 8.

I guess there's one action they could take/try again and if they're planning on being successful this time that could also explain.

The issue is that would cause a huge crisis if someone is dumb enough to go that route. Biden, Harris, and their entire admin is illegitimate. It raises questions on how much cheating is done and if people knew.

Do you invalidate years of Biden policies? Remove the Ketanji from the Supreme Court because Biden did not have the legitimate authority to do so? Do you execute people for treason?

Vance is young and they probably see him as Trump's successor, which he very well could be. Assuming Trump does bestow his blessing on Vance in 2028. This makes him the prime target of neocon boomers and leftists because they really fucking hate Trump's positions as they actually solve a lot of America's problems, and we can't have anyone in government actually fixing things.
