Lawliss also fudges the timeline of Ya Boi Zack going to Indiegogo from Kickstarter. he writes it as if to say Meyers went to indiegogo after being cancelled by Antartic press. Myers was already on Indiegogo in April 2018 and he got cancelled from AP in May of 2018.
Lawliss also makes the point of "amateur creators" not cutting it in CG. I like to remind him of what former Marvel EIC said of comic books: it isn't the creators who decide a book's legacy, it's the people (the market.) Case in point, Narwhal has been by many an
arrogant professional artist in CG as amateurish. His fan base grew and now he's partnered with Mark Millar. Like One did with One punch Man, Narwhal proved it is the consumers, not creators, who determined his success.
