He literally NEVER promotes his shit outside of his monotone mention of whatever campaign he's currently running at the end of his videos. He actually seemed surprised that his last one got a bump because Chuck Dixon was out there promoting it on other channels. It's like he doesn't give a shit about selling books to anyone but the same retards who've been sucking him off since 2018 and their numbers are dwindling with each campaign. He's writing shit nobody gives a fuck about. You think the Jawbreakers backers want to buy a $15 black and white floppy about Osama bin Laden? Or anything pitched as being like "The Rockford Files"? Is he trying to sell books to you or is he trying to sell them to your dad?

His strategy has been to stand outside his shop and call out "come in, guys" every now and then. He saw that audiences are grown by advertising to the fans of other, adjacent people and decided he would do none of that. He alienated the other anti-woke channels, the other comics channels, the other hobby channels and now his own channel.

Captain Marvel is a movie that is based on a comic book. the clowns you've been seething over, typically report on comic book movies, especially ones tied into the MCU since it's something they are interested in.

Cinderella is a Disney Princess movie that has no connection to anything they like. It also came out 2 years before Nerdrotic even produced a single video. He's also said multiple times he doesn't like even the old animated Disney films.

I know, dates are kinda hard for our simple boy, but he's being just as disingenuous as the very people he's tweeting about, and yes, I'm using tweeting because I don't think Zack realizes he's not exactly "staying off Twitter" when he does exactly the thing he said he shouldn't be doing, just on a different site. I can only assume Zack compensates Chuck Dixon pretty fairly and timely or he wouldn't have worked with Zack so often. So on on a purely professional level, I can't feel too bad for him. On the other hand, I have to imagine it's a little unfulfilling to have to write scripts based on pitches you know are terrible and probably won't sell enough to net you any kind of bonus on top of whatever fee you're getting. It's probably like being a gifted artist who has to draw furry porn. Although the furry porn probably pays better.

It seems to me that the bulk of the sales on this campaign were coming mainly from Zack dents who couldn't live if their parasocial daddy had to endure a campaign failing. Dixon's tweets about it went pretty much ignored. I'm also nearly certain that this campaign would have cratered if it weren't for Zack making all his other books available as campaign add-ons. Anyone who missed out on Jawbreakers has to go and buy a retarded "OSAMA GOES TO VEGAS" book in order to add a comic they actually want.

Being an uncultured lout, I'm sure that Zack doesn't know that Cinderella is a ballet that has been filmed numerous times. As such, it's not particularly odd that a "live action" Cinderella had come out. The ballet premiered in Moscow in 1945, Zack. Truthfully, there have been live-action Snow White movies before, too:

One of the things I did when my daughter was growing up (she's a grown woman now) was make sure that the media she was enjoying wasn't garbage. I think Zack has kids too, does he think it's ok if their entertainment is trash? Also, often if you have kids you have to watch movies with them. So, taking them to see absolutely horrible trash becomes a chore for you as well. This is why older Disney and Pixar movies were enjoyable by the whole family, not dreck that was unwatchable by anyone.

The logic is that crowdfunders get the bulk of their money on the first and last days, so you do quick campaigns and get paid quickly. But it's all pointless if you don't advertise them.

The only downside of flexible goals is that you can't use indemand if you don't hit the goal, but it's not like he cares about that.
