Some people need a reminder of the harsh truth that the vast majority of people in power, be it rich people or politicians, got there by being either extremely ruthless, manipulative, heartless, and evil.

Beast is an absolute cunt so I hate to defend him, but just to make one point, the way his charity works hinges on being in a video. He gets the sponsors to pay for it, if he doesn't make a performative video and name drop them, there is no money at all for the charity. From what I remember Beast comes from at least mid to upper level middle class from his upbringing so while he never grew up hurting for money, he'd never have the hundreds if millions of net worth to donate if he didn't make said videos.

In a universe where Beast is a nice and earnest guy, he's essentially scamming corporations into doing charity, and decent dollar amounts of charity in each go, in return for a little product placement. I don't think that's inherently bad. I do think unfortunately the people that career path draws in is unfortunately basically 100% people like Beast though.

His videos are slop and as an adult, after you've seen like, 0.5-2 videos, all the hype of him giving away large sums soon dries up, and then the content of the videos themselves are cancerous but tbh I don't have a problem wiith the concept of raising money for charity like this.
