You're right. It's never been a problem. But two things stick out when he complained: 1) he's wrong about the rule in MN. It's why the judge smacked him down very publicly in court and 2) the rule in OH, which he implied was somehow different, is nearly identical to the MN rule. He's trying to discredit Sean as if he is in a place of righteousness when he's just talking out of his ass. Two months after the judge smacked him down, he doesn't understand why the "rule of completeness" doesn't apply. His attorney probably said "WTF are you talking about?" because they know the rules of evidence and Nick took that to mean they didn't understand it when in fact they were calling him an idiot.

After listening to Barnes describe how Nick arrest was political retaliation and an attempt to silence him, I sure think it would be a good idea if as much information as possible about this case were released to the public. Its a serious matter of public interest.

I agree that that is quite the allegation & it would be surprising if it wasn’t fully investigated. It has been over 2 months without any information on an investigation about Nicks claims of conspiracy. It’s surprising his lawyer streaming friends like Barnes are happy to bring these suspicions & allegations up on their live stream shows & their large audiences on social media sites like X & Youtube, but haven’t requested a release of body cam footage to back up Nicks suggestions in his statements & his streaming friends & guests claims of conspiracy that the local government & officials are out to get Nick. It doesn’t add up, when looking at the big picture.

Directly and through proxies, Rekieta has alleged malfeasance by the police, prosecutor, the courts (GAL) and KCHHS.

The allegations of police planting evidence especially have my interest. Nick keeps alluding that all these agencies have colluded against him to the point that it’s become common talk on various podcasts, including Chrissie Mayr, Robert Barnes, Camelot331, etc etc. Those three streamers were just off the top of my head, but it’s been prominently noted that some conspiracy has been suggested regarding the how & why that drugs were found so Nicks children were removed from his home. Body cam footage of the discovery by police officers of the 26.67 grams of cocaine, 8 green tablets of ketamine, and other drug paraphernalia, leading up to & including the arrests of the Rekieta’s, & April Imholte née Anderson, would go very far in proving the truth about these grand allusions to conspiracy of government officials out to get Nick Rekieta.

Because the first hearing was an emergency hearing around a holiday weekend and Nick & wife were in jail in the lead-up to it. I would also expect it was due (as usual) to Nick being lazy. Nick was actually cooperative initially with those attorneys and agreed with their recommendation to do a hair drug test. Relations with the attorneys seemed to break down in the 6th june hearing and in the aftermath to the june 6th hearing.

The rest is speculation.

After the initial flurry of activity in the case, Nick talked to Barnes and became convinced that they were doing everything wrong. That the CPS case should be fought on constitutional grounds and that Nick should not give an inch to the evil government. Nick also didn't take his attorney not objecting when Nick wanted him to well. Nick also got angry about being told to be quiet by just about everyone in the court.

Nick became convinced that his key to victory was around the government not being able to prove that he used cocaine. That doing the hair test had been bad advice by the old attorneys.

It was really good advice if he wanted his kids back sooner as it has the potential of starting the sobriety clock prior to arrest. Really bad advice if he gave his kids cocaine during the same periods he used cocaine.
