Retards had special retard classes before 1979. Every dollar of federal funding is sucked out of the states first, and guess what, the states with the most people are also the richest states and don't need transfer payments from other states. It's not like highway funding, where there's a legitimate need for highways through Wyoming that the state couldn't fund with its own economy.

Every state puts propositions on the ballot. They’re voted on statewide and then go into effect in that state if successful. There are local propositions (also called issues) too that only affect counties or other smaller jurisdictions.

I liked the big post about shitlibs emulating journo language.

I noticed this in little ways starting years back, the only little things I can think of now is instead of saying they live somewhere (or stay somewhere) they say "I'm Austin based." I think with an implication: Maybe if it gets lame around here I'll leave this scene. Or worse when they use airport codes I'm ORD based. Scotus, POTUS flotus etc. too my phone even auto capitalized one of those. These used to be journo shorthand and are annoying. It was for shizzle simpler times when they all just mimiced nigger speech to add flair.

That view is starting to gain traction. RFK Jr has been saying abortion, guns, trans rights, etc are all bullshit to keep people fighting and ignore the corporate takeover of government. Tucker Carlson has been recently saying there have been no real good solutions or good politicians in the past 50 years on either side. 🤔

Not that I'd personally say this about Obama specifically, but there is a difference between a lot of these people going to WEF meetings, and pulling the "yes its happening and its good" or the "its not happening *wink*" VS. the Trump response of "nah I'm doing my own thing".

Trump surrounded himself with people who are more likely to support Project 2025 (Vance wrote the forward of some P25 guy's book iirc), but he himself is much more likely to dismiss it for his own plan, whether he actualizes it or not if he wins.

This is one of the oddest scenarios that has come about since Biden dropped out. This doesn't work for undecided voters, Biden's mental acuity was in question in 2020 but Dem voters denied it until just over a month ago, so they've already proven they have suspect judgment on the matter. It almost makes me think that they believe Biden's mental decline was memed into reality by the right, and they are desperately trying to make the same thing happen to Trump.

Marcellus Wiley, former NFL player, broadcaster, and now Podcaster, a couple days ago read a text message he got from the DNC offering him and other celebrities/influencers 20k min to appear at the DNC as well as travel, hotel, and incidentals paid for. The text also offered 20k for a positive social media post. The "Kamala and Tim are so full of joy" messaging has been sent out and Colin Cowheard, TV broadcaster/Podcaster, said those exact words verbatim recently.

Does the DNC or any of these celebrities have to declare them paying/getting paid by the DNC for political messaging? How is this not a campaign finance violation?

If an influencer can get the money first, then go and say to the world "I'm just here to get the money, Trump '24, this is fake and gay" that would fuck up this plan so much that the uggo zoomer girls running the campaign will have to resort to the Me Too tactic, find NPCs to say Trump and Vance molested them at the RNC, or at MAL.
