I...I...I can't even ..
A disturbing trend I've noticed over the past month especially are Leftists assigning politicians to family roles. Hillary, Biden, and Harris are in parent roles here. And then there's the "Tim Walz is your dad" memes. They quite literally want to replace the family with the state. It's just bizarre. I don't remember this happening during the Hillary or Obama campaigns, either.

Rogan doesn't want to lose out on millions of celebrity money from endorsing Trump. It's pretty obvious.
The quick walk back makes it look like he's under contract with Spotify to not endorse any candidate or some shit. I don't know why he would walk it back unless he wants Trump to win (in which case he'd have Trump on or endorse him) unless it's something kinda like that anyway

Just to illustrate the changes, as recently as Obama and Bush people would talk about, "He's a guy I would want to have a beer with." Now they are looking for which candidate will punish them if they go to a drinking party.

Thomas Fleming - A Disease in the Public Mind. Leadup to Civil War, starting essentially from formation of US. Bias, if any, is against The Narrative(tm).

A.J. Langguth - After Lincoln. The political shitshow following Civil War. Well written and pretty unbiased IMHO.

I'm not even 'Murican, but these two seem to cover US politics upto about 1900 rather well.
I just recommended a Thomas Fleming book too. Dude is based as hell.
Meme accounts just posted an old vid of Anna Luna. So shes going viral atm.

What happened with the stripper rumors? I'm praying someone finds a video.

Hypothetically if I were in a battleground state and got a pollster call. The play is still to tell them I'm voting Harris right? god I hope im not on some mailing list now.
You could tell them RFK, to see if they eventually take a shot at him too.

Welcome to Whitepill Wednesday with your host, Diana Moon Glampers.

One of the big questions about Kamala's recent manufactured upswing is: how many of Kamala's new likely voters are persuadable to come back to Trump?

This week, a poll illuminated the possibilities.

1723667974475.png

This poll was limited to Democrats and Independents only. It turns out that large majorities of voters in these categories do not know that Harris advocated for or was directly responsible for some of the most widely disliked policies in recent history.

This means that there's a lot of room for attack ads that increase awareness of these factors, as well as contrast ads that show the differences between her and Trump.

The "vibes campaign" stuff is starting to fall apart. Harris has finally acquiesced to demands to unveil her "economic platform." No word on foreign policy or any of the other areas that matter, just the economy.

When is she going to do it, do you suppose? Bright and early on a Monday morning so it's the topic on everyone's minds all week?

Well, no. She's going to do a speech on Friday, at a time and location in Raleigh NC that are being closely guarded. Traditionally, Fridays are when you announce political bad news you want to bury.

Is this unveiling of an economic platform going to be detailed with specific policy proposals? Nope. According to the New York Times:

1723668277675.png

No one is amused. Suddenly, we see the Wall Street Journal and CNN using the same talking points.

Here's CNN's chief domestic correspondent, Jim Acosta, needling Kamala's campaign manager about her unwillingness to answer questions from the press:

Meanwhile, the WSJ:

So Kamala isn't going to bring red meat, and she's hiding her platform on a Friday like it's a scandal to be covered up. She may have herself insulated too well to realize it, but:

Knives (proverbial, not fedposting) are sharpening.

If there's one thing journalists can't stand, it's giving a big sloppy blowie to a politician and then not being given access as a quid pro quo. The whole point of the friendly media treatment Kamala has been receiving is, in no small part, to ensure that she will favor the friendly outlets with her joyful face and give them some ratings boosts for exclusive interviews.

Her campaign is making it clearer and clearer that Kamala isn't interested in talking to the press. The White House press corps has already been feeling cut out by the Biden stuff, and more and more of these guys are chafing at being treated like a propaganda arm that has to simply ignore their own concerns in order to save democracy by careful omission and massaging of facts. No one goes into the job wanting to lob softballs their whole life. None of them want someone in there who is too fragile to take questions.

By the way, if any of those analysts chilling out here want to know what single word would needle Kamala to the degree the left thinks "weird" needled Vance and rank-and-file Republicans...

"Fragile." "Fragility."

Kamala's candidacy is fragile, forged not in the white-hot crucible of a partisan primary, but in a smoke-filled back room. Her personality is fragile, unable to cope with tough questions and shattering into cackling laughter when someone asks anything that makes her uncomfortable or that she doesn't have a canned response for. She's too fragile to stand up for her own positions as soon as someone criticizes them.

Her VP is too fragile to go to war, and too fragile to take responsibility for his cowardice. Walz was also too fragile to stand up for the people of his state against riots, and his leadership was too fragile to keep the peace during covid without deploying the National Guard to fire paintballs from tanks (something no other governor had to resort to).

The two of them are too fragile to run an ordinary campaign, and a fragile consensus among Democratic factions and a supportive press is the only way to prop up her candidacy....which just six weeks ago was viewed as such a toxic possibility that many people still thought the Geriatric-in-Chief was a superior and more electable alternative to letting Kamala have a shot at the White House.

The left has already used the term "fragile" and "fragility" to describe white people, and every time anyone uses these terms about Kamala Harris, they'll be forced to think about the idiocy of the Robin DiAngelo style grifter and how the Dems spent years forcing that on everyone. They can't say "fragility is good actually" without abandoning that entire line of attack and cutting loose the Kendis and DiAngelos, which they do not want to do. Also, because of the word's association with white women in the minds of the left, this will be a way to call her not-very-black without saying anything direct.

Well Boebert used to be minimum wage, and Luna used to be Military, so no doubt there is stuff out there, but their campaigns probably bought NDA's and such. 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️
It's only when you are a former model like Melania and Ivanka you can't really hide that stuff.

but I’d argue some Jews fetishize victimhood as their religion.
Guess who were one of the largest fans of "Nazisploitation" movies and books in the 60s? Right out of Wikipedia:

Israeli literature

[edit]
In Israel specifically, during the 1960s, "Stalag fiction" was pocket books whose stories focused on the unique features of this genre. The phenomenon took ground in parallel to the 1961 Eichmann trial. Sales of this pornographic literature broke all records in Israel as hundreds of thousands of copies were sold at kiosks.[3] They were inspired by Ka-tzetnik 135633's House of Dolls, the experiences of a Jewish girl prostituted in the "Joy Division" (Block 24) of the Auschwitz camp, the factuality of which is disputed.[3]

Everyone thinks Ms. Luna is hot but for me it’s Ms. Nancy Mace

She is pretty sassy and based. She told the former USSS direct she's full of shit on national tv.

I don't know. I'm having such a hard time with her. From 2016 to about 2022 she was a hardcore never Trumper and a tremendous RINO. I know that I'm all over her social media / facebook every time she posted abusing the living shit out of her, calling her out for being a RINO and telling her that I hope she gets primaried. I have no idea how she managed to slither past all that...I can't tell if she really has smartened up or if she's just an opportunist and can see which way the wind is blowing and decided to latch on to MAGA but honestly I still don't trust her for shit.

I agree she has a better face.
But sir, have you seen that ass in the video?

No, everything was blurry with my nose that close to the screen

Between this shit and the posts with fanfic about Tim Walz being a "dad" to JD Vance, I am absolutely convinced that a large number of leftoids have fucked up childhood backgrounds with inappropriate parental figures. It's just so fucking weird that so many of them reach out so desperately for a role model parental figure and latch onto people like Kamala or Tim or even when they were doing it with Joe. These people are so fucked up that clearly not even their own families want anything to do with them and thus they have to reach out for whatever retard bran
I keep going back to ...who was it? That CNN retard that on Biden's installation was saying how the lights over the water in front of the washington monument was like Biden's arms surrounding the nation? These people really come from broken homes.

God I can't wait for the debate. She's gonna get eaten alive hard, on live TV. It's going to be even worse than Biden's.
And this time they're stuck. No switcheroo.
Hold on to your sides, ladies and gents.

Not a bug. But a feature. See Drag Families.

>High density housing full of niggers but this time they're in the desert

Good idea but doesn't survive contact with reality
I don’t think he intends it to be high density section 8 housing type thing. If this is his freedom cities thing, which it appears to be, it’s more like Walt Disney’s vision for EPCOT, a city of the future type thing.

Trump previously said:
Past generations of Americans pursued big dreams and daring projects that once seemed absolutely impossible. They pushed across an unsettled continent and built new cities in the wild frontier. They transformed American life with the interstate highway system—magnificent it was. And they launched a vast network of satellites into orbit all around the earth,”
“But today, our country has lost its boldness. Under my leadership, we will get it back in a very big way. If you look at just three years ago, what we were doing was unthinkable, how good it was, how great it was for our country. Our objective will be a quantum leap in the American standard of living

I think he wants it to be his version of the Eisenhower’s Interstate highway or Teddy’s National Park.

I do think your right to be skeptical of how it will turn out when it meets the friction of reality, but in theory it seems like an amazing proposal.

I would like her to explain what MAGAnomics is compared to Bidenomics.
apparently it’s “raising taxes” even though when trump was in office he lowered them across the board, not just for the wealthy or corporations, and Biden IMMEDIATELY killed those cuts. KJP or Kamala trying to argue she will cut taxes when she had 4 years of raising them is such an egregious lie I feel my heart going into palpitations

It’s more you can create a new suburb like what Texas did in the 80’s and 90’s rather than building vertically and getting sued by the Teacher’s Union for casting a shadow on a playground at 5:00 AM and depriving children of sunlight.

No weirdo child, your heart is not going into palpitations. Kamala did not have four years to lower taxes. She did not cast tie breaking vote to allow the IRS to go after Tips. She is not fat retarded by any medical standard. These are your delusions again weirdo. Prison awaits.

If you pick a few top topics of interest (like 2 or 3), I can recommend some excellent books. However, they are very likely to be meant for historians and therefore extremely dense.
I was one of those kids who read encyclopedias and textbooks for fun, so dense is no problem for me.
I'm particularly interested in:
1) The civil war and events leading up to it
2) The start of or history of the CIA and the federal reserve
3) Notable events in congress or senate at any time period, just more information about how they work, what they do, their history, etc
4) Notable presidencies, particularly Nixon, Reagan, JFK, or others with interesting happenings or those who are spoken of now in ways that mischaracterize their presidency or who had impact but are overlooked.

Anything you can recommend is appreciated, I always felt like there's a lot of interesting history that's not discussed much but it probably pretty fun to learn about.

The main reason why they will drag Joe’s corpse over the line is that, as people have said, it’ll make Kamala look awful. She’d have to actually do things and respond to criticism. She can’t run on, “We will do _____ when I get into the White House” because she could do it now.

I'm actually kind of surprised Trump/Vance hasn't used this as a wedge attack yet. "If Kamala Harris had ANY good ideas, they would have been implemented by now! People, do YOU feel like anything she's done has helped you in the last 4 years? Can you name it?"

That forces her to either admit she has no ideas, or claim she does have good ideas but mean ol' Joe has been ignoring them. And that line puts a Democrat civil war back on the table, or at least some infighting that makes them look bad.

Bro, I can only get so hard.

Opening up Nevada would really only be good for resource exploitation.
Should also reopen up the mines in Appalachia. Really annoying seeing everybody shit on them for being poor when it was the Government that killed their industry. The icky acidic sludge from Appalachia can be hauled to Nevada to be processed into Iron and the Sulfide waste dumped into the lifeless salt flats.

For homes, everybody outside of the mining towns will just become mountain men probably with their own little prospect going on for cash. All the people who'll move in to try and do the trad life shit will quickly starve to death or kill all the elk for social media points then starve to death.
I can also see people trying to get into ranching but that's going to be pretty difficult since all the good land is already taken and underground water pumping will need to be heavily invested in.
