Cartoon Industry thread - Showcasing the Spergery of the Animation Industry

You have no actual idea how photoshop works, do you? Again, new tools vs full automation. Modern photographers still require knowledge of framing, color theory etc. to do there work. Modern camera equipment speeds up the process but does not do the work for them.
No because I don't use Photoshop I use GIMP and I don't know what you're talking about with all of your fancy schmancy terminology however automating a system does not make it somehow worse.
I've used CNC machines in woodworking that is clearly cheating no one is allowed to use CNC in woodworking or machining we all must only use manual lathes

Bruh, some can't accept that as much as they seethe about Zaslav: American Animation has been cooked for years.

Mainly by activists, pedophiles, and suits
the reason American animation is losing out to Japanese animation because American animation cannot tell complex stories or create animation for adults which isn't comedy.
Also this Steven universe style of animation needs to be set on fire it is disgusting looking looks like someone mixed up a bunch of acid and then vomited the acid trip onto a page

He doesn't even sound like he knows how photography works beyond some vague notion of "chemical labs," which haven't been in wide use since the days of literal film photography. We just gotta ignore retards shitting up the thread with irrelevant tangents.

Speaks for itself...

Honestly it probably wouldn't have been such a huge problem if she didn't make broad inflammatory statements like these without specifying it's "just fiction" or fantasy. Imagine a employee from any type of company saying this stuff online without a disclaimer.
Definitely agree that Carrozza cut ties due to his own paranoia about getting caught though. The cartoon industry is full of these predators that throw each other under buses to gain clout and trust from potential victims. Wouldn't be suprised if Nico announced Carrozza's arrest to throw suspicion off himself.
Of course, /ss/.
Absolutely disgusting.

Seen on my For You page, appears to be a successful animation writer (no art skills, just scripts).

You rarely see "I'd rather be working on a real show" openly admitted, but this is combined with "also writing cartoons is HARDER". And this is coming from someone who has worked in cartoons for years. Maybe there's a reason The Bear won't hire you?

When the dust settles, do you think of any of these people will have the balls to admit the real reason for CN's downfall?
Nah, it will always be excuses, excuses, excuses.

To be honest, rate me "clocks" or "autistic", but I think I may have missed it - is it the creeps, the talentless peoples, the weirdos, or all three together?

i hate the nigga David Zaslav more than you can believe
I view him as the cleansing fire that destroys a house with a black mold infection in the basement. Ultimately, he kills an old woman and like 80 inbred cats, but he ends up saving the neighborhood and the woman’s nephew from the embarrassment of having to go to station to certify that her half eaten corpse is her.

It's a combination of the three, plus CN not having a big breakout hit show since (depending on how you look at it) Steven Universe. Say what you will about that show (I know I have), but as far as my memory can recall, that was the last CN original show to really have some sort of cultural impact and be a success for the network.

Since then, nothing's come close to it, Regular Show, or Adventure Time. OK KO showed promise early on, but then it ended up falling into quite a few of the traps that CN shows post-Steven fall into, and it was cancelled after only 2 seasons.

For the record, Steven premiered in November 2013 and really exploded in popularity in March 2015. We are coming up on 10 years since then.
