What, in your view as a Farmer, should doctors and therapists do for people suffering from genuine gender dysphoria (not AGPs)?
The two posts I quote below pretty much sum up my opinion
Treat them the same way they do with any other body dysmorphia.
We don't tell anorexics that their weight loss is so brave. It's still generally frowned upon (for now) to cut off the limbs of someone who thinks they should have been born with one leg.
Work with them to come to terms with the fact that they can never be the opposite sex. It’s cruel to pretend that they can change sex and crueller still to mutilate their bodies in pursuit of an impossible goal.
Gender dysphoria is no different to any other dysmorphia, it's a lack of self esteem and a warped body image.
For people who genuinely suffer from it, and aren't just fetish rotted AGP abominations, it must be a terrible neuroticism to have to live with, but the best treatment is to help them fin a way to do just that, it's the only form of dysmorphia that we "treat" by just agreeing with the patients delusions, despite the negative medical outcomes that come from the "affirmation" model.
We don't give anorexics Ozempic, and we don't blind people who think they should be born blind. We don't amputate the healthy limbs of body dysmorphia patients, but tell a doctor it's your penis you want to cut off or your tits instead of your legs, and the medical profession sees dollar signs and railroads people into devastating mutilation.
It's cynical money grubbing at the expense of people's health and it's fucking disgusting that these sick sociopathic ideologues get away with it.
It doesn't help a delusional patient to "affirm" their delusions, and this gendershit is the only delusion that the medical profession wants to "affirm" and a lot of it (outside the crazy activists) is entirely because of the profit motive in turning these people into lifelong patients.
An anorexic given Ozempic will die quick, theres only so many limbs you can amputate from a person who thinks they should have been born a torso, but Troons and Pooners require lifelong hormone replacement, plus regular "revisions" as their butchered typically go wrong straight away or have a short shelf life before something goes wrong.
