How tall is Kamala Harris and how tall is Tim Walz? My guess is half the debate issue is the fact that it’ll be Hillary all over again where Trump just towers over his opponent.

Joe was only a 4 inches shorter than Trump so the camera angle wasn’t hard during the debates (they still had them like a mile away on the stage though). Is Harris like average height for a woman? If she is than she’s losing votes. You can’t put a fucking 5’3 woman who can’t finish a sentence without cackling next to a 6’3-6’4 man. It’ll look real ridiculous. Where I live, all the cheap motels have been bought up by the state and NGOs to house migrants. All these migrants do all day is sit around, drink, smoke, and litter. None of these people work and there are no efforts to place these people in jobs or anything productive. The organizations responsible for getting these people into the country have no goals other than to get them in and put them on the welfare system.

There is a park near my house where some migrant men gather, spend all day drinking, throw their empties on the ground (even though there is a rubbish bin right next to where they litter), and harass women of all ages. The police scatter them sometimes, but these people have no shame and are likely too drunk to give a fuck.

Sometimes, these people get proper housing, but it's in the form of an apartment meant for 2 or 3 people tops. Instead, they throw 18 people inside, remove the fire alarms when they start chirping, and then everyone dies because someone tried cooking meth to make money.

Unless people starting voting to stop this fucking insanity, this country will be left with gated communities and ghettos outside like it's India or something.

I cut anyone who saw the world from 1939-1960 a lot of slack when it comes to having utterly retarded ideas about world politics. They went through the most horrific war in history, and then had a couple near-death brushes with all of human civilization being turned into a radioactive wasteland. How to make sure that didn't happen again was, naturally, top of mind for a lot of people. Since nation-states didn't stop a couple of world wars, I understand why many of them thought independent states were the problem. I'm not saying they were right, just saying that I understand given what they had witnessed.

Story time from a Gen Xer: Back in the early 80s when I was in elementary school one of my teachers assigned the movie The Day After (I think that's the name, can't be arsed to look it up) for homework. It's about nuclear war and how we're all gonna die, blah blah blah. For a young kid it was terrifying, and after I watched it I ran to my parents and informed them that we would all be dead in a year or two and how could they just sit there and calmly watch MASH while we were heading into nuclear disaster? Didn't they understand that we're all doomed?

My parents, who were born during the depression, were young children at the tail end of WWII, lived through the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the civil rights years and riots, the feminist movement, and had just gotten through the Carter years where you had to wait in line to buy gasoline, just shrugged and said, "You're not gonna die in a nuclear war. Go to bed." Nuclear propaganda didn't phase them at all. Same with global warming/climate change/all the other doomer junk. Child's play compared to what they had gone through.

As an aside, those teachers suuuuuuuucked for make young kids watch that movie. Probably got the mandate from the newly minted Department of Education.
