3. Court is open.
Any member of the public may visit this hearing.
Fuck, I guess I gotta go then. Dm me for strategies on how to annotate in the cleanest way.
To all Kiwi court reporters
I WANT DETAILED COURT REPORTS FROM THE BALLDO CASE ON MY DESK!

Coordinate amongst yourselves who will be taking notes of what, divide an conquer. I specifically need detailed reports on the tone and expresions (More importantly of the Balldo camp). I NEED them for my Ace Attorney parody that I will make!

Jokes on Nick.
A fun joke.

But you know what's not a joke? GETTING CORONA VIRUS. We all are very concerned about both the CHINA VIRUS and MONKEY POX, and we want everyone who has to go to this trial (since we cannot remote view it, per court order) to BE SAFE and to THINK OF THE CHILDREN. As such, I highly recommend that those ATTENDING in person who are concerned about their health and, especially, for those who are immuno-compromised, to WEAR A MASK.

There will be people from as far away as NORTH DAKOTA and also possibly MEXICO (the country) attending this trial, and we all know how much DISEASE is spread in AIRPORTS.

Help to STOP THE SPREAD, friends.

i meant nick seems to be implying that the document was in direct reply to his excuses that he feeds us.
It was, because he'd also filed it in court. It was the only remotely relevant point he made in his brief, the other two being outright lies.

Before Nick's filing, there was no issue about kids. So what was it in response to, if not Nick's filing?
Because it keeps the sun out of my eyes.
It also keeps your face from getting sunburned and the increased risk of skin cancer from that shit.

This is the play. But I suspect ol' Nick might try and slide out the backdoor to thwart any video of him making it to the site -- and to potentially limit his ability to blow up as soon as he realizes some of those in attendance are from here.
I can't speak for his courthouse, but the local small courthouses I've been to have only had a single door for the unwashed masses(not employees or law enforcement) as the public has to go through a metal detector and have their stuff X-Rayed.

There's also usually one where they bring in defendants coming in from jail (if there is not an actual jail in the courthouse itself as I have also seen), although I suppose that counts as "law enforcement." Even small towns want a chokepoint to entry.

I say we crowdfund for a court reporter to go and let them do their thing. That way no one has to go and we get a very reliable transcript from the proceedings. Anyone interested? @Null
There's already going to be an official transcript. It's the other stuff people are interested in. The official court reporter would also probably not appreciate randos invading their turf and legal monopoly on a transcript of the proceedings.

I was actually was involved in a long and lengthy court case in CA where we sent over a court reporter to sit in proceedings with the same people we were suing and get a transcript for our case as the official transcript would not be released for ages and we needed accurate info for our case, and no one minded, we had to do it more than once.

to be clear - it’s not an official transcript, the court reporter sits as a member of the public and essentially takes very very accurate notes.

KADN just published a story including a statement by Null. It’s full of gems, including “live-in nanny,” April Imholte (now Anderson).

Hrm. April Anderson. I'm a fervent believer that if your parents gave you an alliterated name, you're ending up as a comic book character or batshit insane. Another tally for that one.

There are indeed companies that do real time transcripts, even in a special format where they index every single word used in the transcript so you can look at them at the end and click on the page numbers and go automatically to them. I'm just not sure a small town court would really be interested in being invaded that way or if it's worth the considerable amount of money it would take to get it a few days sooner.
