They love letting her cackle and throw her moronic ideas around like her tax credit for the first year of childhood, but once she starts talking about hardcore commie shit like nationalizing businesses or just taking people's property away, or price fixing and letting the government decide what things should cost, they panic and step in to try to mitigate the damage. My grandmother, who is still alive, is a centenarian. She was born in the early 1920's and is still mentally very sharp. While she doesn't talk about it much, she has made it very clear that - at a certain point - you get tired of existing. She wants to go home to Jesus. Most studies on old people and death reflect this and it's very much the norm. Boomers are fucked in the head.

Turns out that just like with Hillary sucking and fucking your way to the top doesn't impart the actual leadership skills needed.

I have no idea if she slept her way to the top, but Hillary is smart. She's the brains behind Bill for sure. Thing is, smart people do/say dumb things when they have no moral compass. I agree with @AnitaSarsleezian and others that Kamala is low IQ. I was shocked she got the nomination because, as she's showing, she can't be controlled because she doesn't get how the game needs to be played right now. She's either stealing talking points from Trump, promising to fix things that she/Biden could fix right now (although they're not actually in charge of anything), or throwing out commie ideas. Her staying away from the press could be her choice--she's too exclusive and precious to talk to the peon media--or it's the handlers choice because she's such a disaster.

Trump and Vance holding back a bit before the convention is a good decision, imo. She's damaging herself all on her own, and her VP isn't helping. Trying to be "relatable" by claiming to not season his Mexican food and at the same time pretending he didn't win a spicy chili cook off is peak prevarication. These people are dishonest at all times. The truth is whatever they decide it is in the moment.

I take it MSNBC is the Progressive faction. Their viewership isn't circling the toilet like CNN, though. I'm wondering if the money is running low/out to pay off all the media, or if more cash is being shifted to Progressive outlets and the internet in a desperate attempt to astroturf Kamala to the presidency. It's still a problem because if the media has nothing from the DNC to push but "good vibes" and Trump attacks, they're going to run out of steam. They can't even point to Biden's record because it's utter failure and she's attached to it. Talk about a complete mess.

It is fairly simple to understand really. Trump's campaign has done almost no spending and doesn't intend to really do much beyond simple attacks until after the DNC. This is devastating to the only legitimate route Harris has.

If Trump came out swinging now, during Harrisx honeymoon period, the media would be able to get a lot of reflexive support for Orange Man Bad and just coast on that.

Because everyone, including them, knows that Harris is rapidly falling out of favor with everyone. And once the DNC comes and goes, there is no amount of TDS that will make Harris palatable. That's when fairly large chunks of the Democrat voting bloc will begin falling off into apathy.
