Is there ANYTHING to say, with a womanchild making a soyface like this?

"If only you knew how bad things were" vibes, coming from Bluey's father.

Fandoms are for the mentally weak.
And the mentally ill
"Fandom" used to simply mean participation in a community, discussing your favorite show or game. Speculation, fan art, appreciation, analysis, it used to be fun. Then like most other things on the Internet, it eventually devolved into constant slop. You "need" the most exaggerated thumbnails, act like you're constantly on crack, get more excited for "next product" than your "friends."

Being a fan of something began to consume people's lives far more than it ever should've. And then you have all the overlap with the rise in political content amongst online circles, as well as gay stuff and identity politics.

Fandom went from a community where you can talk about your favorite things, to a "lifestyle". Other nerdy subjects such as wargames and tabletop games have gone through the same enshittening process: instead of just playing these games and talking about it, people are shaping their entire lives around it. It's dumb as fuck.

Yep. It used to be harmless fun, and now it is people "dedicating their lives in the name of fandom". Some joke, but it isn't just Marvel - it is ANY sort of consumable. Some like to stretch and say "religion" or "politics", yet those can be argued about.

Also fan art can be shortened to "f.art"

There is a Bluey thread here, but it’s not a community watch. But it should be. Yes Bluey. Miscarriages are totally what pre-school shows should be tackling. Can’t wait for bluey pro-abortion episode.
Good lord, lighten up. The episode in question is about Bluey's aunt and why she hasn't come to visit Bluey and Bingo, and it's a very gentle child-friendly way to say "the aunt can't have kids and it makes her sad seeing bluey and bingo." There's a vague quiet hint that Bluey's mom had a miscarriage in the past too, that their family struggles with having kids. It's not smashed into the audience's face like "HEY KIDS DID YOU KNOW WHEN DADDY PUTS HIS PENIS IN MOMMY'S VAGINA AND EJACULATES IT CREATES A FETUS THAT SOMETIMES SPONTANEOUSLY DIES IN THE UTERUS!!!!" The community around it is cringe, but from what I've seen Bluey is genuinely a good show for kids and their parents.

You realize you made the same arguments as Bronies did during the early days of my little pony fandom to justify watching a show made for little girls as adults? They all used the argument that MLP was a smart show because there were adult jokes and hints at more mature themes.

Childrens shows including little things for the parents forced to watch along with their kids is fine, using that as an excuse on why you as a grown childless adult is watching the show is cringe.
My only opinion on Bluey is that its not indian ai generated spiderman elsa brainrot. There doesn't seem to be anything inherently wrong with it.

Legit, we'll never get the same kind of good-natured hilarity from the Bluey adults like we did with the Bronies.
The main difference to most early Bronies were their early to mid-20s. Adult bluey fandom are mostly single childless adults in their late 20s to 30s. Adult bluey fans tend to be older. A lot of female fans look like the traditional wine aunt or cat ladies. Adult bluey fan theory channels on YouTube are early Matpat tier autistic.

Wow, imagine if Fleischer or Disney had the same outlook on life as them? I think it's obvious they are bringing up all the difficulties in their life to deflect from the bigger problem, that being they are creatively bankrupt and know their ideas are too niche or politically hamfisted to gain international recognition. And let's not mince words, these people WANT international recognition for their efforts. Why else do they keep going to bat for "le greedy corporations" other than to keep their jobs in "high-profile" brands like Disney or CN?

I just want to state for the record that I'm not an adult Bluey fan, I've seen maybe 3 episodes of it in total, but I still think people are developing Bluey Derangement Syndrome.

Yes. Because people with zero history of posting on this thread show up just to defend Bluey and adults watching bluey aren’t suspicious at all. This what happen with Bronies during the 2010 Internet era.
Better make that Bluey community thread before this one becomes infected!
