When this ends, as I think it will given how intense it all is, will DSP memoryhole the fact that he went 180 on his no drama/Phil's an island promises?

Once it ends, which it will, he'll do the usual DSP policy: scorched Earth tactics, along with salting the Earth. He'll claim the usual, that he was a "victim" in all of this, he was "lied to", and that he should "Just go back to being on an island just by himself." and claiming that it was his "depression" that made him do this. Phil is feeling is oats and he's making money hoof over fist. Also, he truly believes that this is his "redemption arc" and that people like him. No, Phil. This isn't 2010. Even back in 2010, you were a smug asshole than, you're still a smug asshole now.

Also, I love how he claims he's "owning the meme" when it comes to pulling Hogan's. "Yeah, with this money, I'm gonna pull so many Hogan's." Yet, he doesn't pay attention to what the detractors are talking about. Also, how we're all seething that he's making money. Phil, I don't care if you make a million dollars a stream, I follow the philosophy of "Point and laugh" and you can make $10,000 on one stream, you're back to playing poor the next day. That $10K, um, it went to pay for stuff, genius: bills, back taxes, it paid for a lot of thing behind the scenes, idiot!

Point being, this will end. We're in SmugSydePhil, but DepressionSydePhil will be back before we all know it.

yeah honestly it's gotten absurd, especially the last few years since the pandemic. no one makes content for the sake of content. everyone and their mother has their paypal/patreon/whatever and is shilling it nonstop. yeah phil is probably a lot more straightforward about his begging than most, but he's definitely not an anomaly in that regard.

I don't about everyone else here, but phil making a couple hundred dollars doesn't ruin my day it just means Phil's going to be on cloud 9 till the budget oilers can't tip them down the track. He also may get a bit smug, slip up and say so something he shouldn't.

Phil hasn't mentioned taxes this year as far as I am aware, what's the odds on him not mentioning them this year?

The most hilarious outcome would be that once the money well dries uzp he will realize his upcoming taxes will be much higher then usual and he will beg and scream that his cult pays their taxes for their king. Or does anybody actually think he saves up m oney for his quaterly taxes? I don't. Unless he will claim all those "donations" as actual investment costs
