Real-world coding often involves solving problems on the spot, and whiteboard coding is a way to simulate this.
:story: And I'm 100% sure he's avoiding this for that reason, because what if he gets it wrong in front of a lessee coder than himself? Even a minor mistake would bruise his ego FOREVER.

This cuck didn't even release the full chapter. He released a part of it.
Duke Furdom Forever...

Mald doesn't talk about his own game for obvious reasons,
Hack, fraud.
it took three years to fully developed and they're now working on the sequel weird.
Toby Fox and his team are taking their sweet time to release the next chapter of their game to be fair, 3 years since their last release. But they also put out 2 competent chapters already. I'm wondering if Toby and the team are getting hit by the lazy bug or if they're slow to avoid burnout and work on other projects, but streaming with your thumb up your ass isn't one of them and they still put out work for others in that time.

Toby's loaded from Undertale, and hasn't taken any money for Deltarune that I'm aware of. He can work at whatever pace he wants given those conditions. This 10 years of early access bullshit needs to end at some point.

As GhastlyGhost says above.
As far as I am aware DeltaRune is 100% Free and the dude is making tons of money in merchandising. I'd imagine he gives zero shits and is just taking his time doing it when it appeals to him. It is no longer a job. So he has an excuse.
To some extent Jason is the same way I suppose but his game isn't out and he's taking / has taken money for it. Jason also paints himself as a genius mastermind.

Oh shit, I still have his 714 number on my Skype. Time to delete that shit. He's going to have to update his new address sooner or later.

So I found his new address. I was sperging out about being a "leet haxor" and "finding persons information

Looks like he purchased it in March.

EDIT: The Property that he purchased has a sign "Driftwood Ranch" between the wooden poles. Looks like he's finally reached the point of starting his own "Furry Commune" with more than enough space to fuck plenty of ferrets and horses. If you were me - you'd feel the same way I do. Disgusted. Now knowing how he got there by shilling to uninformed and unexperienced children to sell an unfinished game pretending to be "Good Daddy hacker" has me disgusted beyond words.

EDIT 2: So - his 2 hour commute was basically because he had to drive from Tacoma where his one house is - to his mansion because "Bad internet". Ah, first world 1%er problems.
Lmfao when Cows collide. This is Onisions old stomping grounds.

He simply does not want to pay to keep his shit running long past the best by date.
(Sorry for necroposting) Regulating stuff like this is a long process, though. Even if this initiative succeds, it will take several years to write and pass laws for this stuff, his game will surely be released before that. Hell, even the signatures are going to be collected for a full year.

I do wonder, however, if his hatred towards SKG is related with him owning game companies stocks, which definitely will take a hit in case of live service regulations coming up.

Oh, that makes tons of sense. I didn't even realize it was free - the hand over fist money from merchandising is an incentive but it's much easier when you made one of the biggest if not the biggest indie hits of all time and can chill while you make it. That's a lot more excusable than grand developer gibsmedat here, which makes Jason T's sloth even worse :story:.

It has been brought up that he also owns a publishing company with Ludwig.
I'd imagine he very much plans to profit from GaaS games.

Another day and another video where our main "hero" complains about the changes that will help users, but as a dev he thinks they are not good. I sense a pattern here.
A lot of comments are not agreeing with him.

I think I'm retarded, I don't understand how hiding the hundreds of "this game killed my wife 10/10" and checkmark reviews only made to farm Steam points hurts devs? Oh, nevermind, Mald is just arguing in bad faith and worst case scenario because "invisible hand bad":

Maldy, people already "bot" dogshit meme reviews, how is this system going to hurt devs now? Devs can also mark reviews as abusive and off-topic to hide them. Of course, if Valve notices, they reverse that shit fast.

"These links are dogshit, nobody uses them"

>sidebanner takes most of the page and atleast has icons for a basic visual guide.

If he could provide some sort of proof of that if he is so sure about this it would be nice, we all know the answer.

You have to click "read more" on alot of game pages's game description, 99% of triple As just have the ultimate/special edition contents displayed, i wouldnt be surprised if more people clicked on a sidebanner link rather than a "read more"
Could the lil sidebanner be better, yeah, but he still comes across as a retard about it

Do you really think this patatonigger even fucking has a concept of game design or visual negative space arrangement? The extent of his "Official Education" was 1 year in high school for 2 quarter semesters of "Photoshop" and "Web Design with Flash Game Integration".
I could Alog this thing but I'll tell you right now:
He won't have a grift when this shit goes public and he's going to rot in his shiney new mansion.

A short advice on imposter syndrome????
Streaming 12+ hours a day while being in a state of constant fear must be really difficult. I wonder why he keeps doing this to himself.

That fear, the only thing that's going to do is teach you that you have to make make it as good as you possibly can.

Kek, is this his new cope?
Clearly it couldn't have been that badly coded if the game worked as well as it did.
He's making it sound like it's Bethesda tier buggy or something.

I just turned off the new feature, and I'm excited to say that it actually works in getting rid of garbage, suddenly I got alot of copypastas and ascii art instead of actual reviews, and there still is some shitposty reviews but they are all unique and creative instead of the same old copy+paste.

That's a good question. I tried looking up this short on his YT channel, and it's nowhere to be found. I guess The Great Purge has reached the shorts now.

Not really surprising he thinks this way, considering that a 1000LOC switch-case is what he did for his "game". I have my doubts about his Earthbound clone "changing the games industry" though.

The reason it is coded badly is because the creator himself when he started wasn't a "20 year haxxzor" like some people ;) But he made it work.
Toby started a Kickstarter campaign and delivered Undertale on time without using an appeal to experience like Jason. After that, Toby released Chapter 1 of Deltarune and was upfront that he was gonna release the chapters when they were finished. Let's look at Jason now: 1) Started a Kickstarter campaign for his game which raised $15000, pushed back the release date of his game 2 times, then released it in early access and only released a part of Chapter 3 in Dec 2023 (despite claiming in 2021 that Chapter 3 was 95% complete). 2) Claims that he has "20 years of experience in the industry" but writes code like Yandere Dev and has been developing his game for 7 years.
