Is it possible that he actually thought the  trial was today? Or could his hooves not type out the word "hearing"?

I was wondering this as well. He came all the way from Mexico to see two lawyers iron out the details of the trial. What a waste.

Based on what the Steel Toe listener said, Ralph smells like he raided his homo host’s liquor cabinet milk crate of a Mad Dog last night.

Ralph must smell like fermented BO and spoiled milk. His diabetes makes him smell like alcohol regardless of ingestion, but he has been drunk nonstop for a decade so there really isn't a control for a non drunk Ralph's ketone levels.

The most pathetic thing is how Rekieta forgave Ralph so that Ralph could be his little attack dog. Ralph called his kids retarded and a wife a whore (not wrong on the wife ngl). The guy put more effort traveling to what would be a single day of the court crossing Ts and dotting Is than he did seeing his own son. If it was the actual trial where he would have a week of content to cover then all that effort might make a little more sense. What is his plan after today? Go home? Interview Nick who couldn't say much? Sample the local Minnesota streetwalkers?

No. Every court has different rules about electronics but at minimum you're not allowed to to have them on while in the courtroom. Some places ban them from the building all together and will turn you away at the door if you have a phone.

No. Every court has different rules about electronics but at minimum you're not allowed to to have them on while in the courtroom. Some places ban them from the building all together and will turn you away at the door if you have a phone.

Sometimes, you can get permission from the court to live post (usually to Twitter because you're journoscum) about court hearings. This needs to be arranged far in advance, though.
