Didnt want to engage in this conversation (idk why anyone is even replying to the idiot who asked this question to begin with) but it's actually not slow nor painful, it's relatively uncomfortable due to some nausea and anxiety you will get in the death process but it's not too horrible, it will kill you in about 20-40 minutes. It effectively ends your life by draining oxygen from your bloodstream. It's viewed as a more peaceful way to go compared to other intoxicant suicide methods

If you want it to actually work you will use anti-emetics and not just massively OD on it (someone on this thread reported an incredibly bad result from doing exactly that). I'm not sure why exactly SS is so obsessed with this method, when just actually deliberately doing what David Carradine accidentally did would get better results.

To get this thing to work right, you'd have to titrate up to the point you're nearly at LD and then, once that's absorbed, finish it off with something that ensures not even a stomach pump can fix it.

Otherwise, you're just inviting one of those situations where you're "saved" to be a fucking comatose vegetable, a fate way worse than death.

Yeah, I'm not sure why that ever became a thing. Wrist cutting has a very low mortality rate because of reflexive vasoconstriction staunching the bleeding, and also you're very likely to cut through nerves and tendons in the process which is extremely painful.

I read an account on that site of someone who livestreamed their SN death for people to observe and it seemed really bad. Everyone observing thought it was going to be a peaceful process and it was really violent.

Somewhat related I actually saw the video of Michael Marin, the millionaire who committed suicide in the middle of court by ingesting cyanide, just the other day. His trial was live so his death was of course recorded. Video is here (it's not graphic but still NFSW)

If ingesting SN is anything like that, then it almost makes me wonder which would be the more "peaceful" of the two options to go: swallowing SN or cyanide
