Those two things are likely linked. Probably their email was compromised which allowed them to take over the registrar account, and then hijack the DNS (likely the registrar control panel will have an option to use their DNS and have them redirect for you to be even easier).

I'm pretty sure FA's coding is just that bad. I mean, they've got some very... incompetent people on staff, as mentioned both here and other threads. Most of them probably try to code one-handed, if they even do their jobs at all.

You can browse people's scraps, do you think people don't notice an empty account with submissions: 120 next to their user information and don't look? The onus is on you to prove there are accounts that post CP free and clear, you're the one making the accusation.

The annoying thing is they likely could have, if they knew any actual hacking and weren’t a zoomer script kiddie who probably needed handholding owning the domain is a big step , even a free email trace on @furaffinity.net emails shows a few names with the same name as a furaffinity account, there is a good chance one of them is an admin account who has it set as their recovery, or pointing a backend server to one they control , to grab more information. There is so much they could have done to get to the juicy part as the fa admins are spergs who never actually took a server under attack offline.

Perhaps FA's security infrastructure was running obsolete software that their IT crew was too lazy to upgrade. I don't know jack shit about the tendencies of cybersecurity, but I'm betting on a snowflake with a huge ego who thought that he knows everything about DNS security from just reading some convincing degenerates on Reddit and didn't question any of his ideas.

The most amazing thing to me was the complete lack of any kiddy stuff in Dragoneers DM'S.
I've been out of the loop. But man, that was embarrassing. I'd never expect the man wasn't retarded enough to post stuff like that in DMs. But I would, therefore he's innocent... Of being a nonce at least.

Not aware of his lore all that much TBH.

Considering that it’s a low quality site with a mediocre domain and has low quality staff members and low quality customer service, I wouldn’t doubt that the community on there is equally as shitty, but yeah. There are TONS of better sites to redirect to and to get your talent noticed better. Still, the hacker was pretty stupid for just outing for attention like a little spastic retarded kid.

a) Dragoneer was a retard and all his staff were nepo hires or people who he found would work for peanuts. Not exactly a fertile ground for competency
b) Any "furry" IT worker who's even mildly competent knows how to keep their power level hidden, and do not engage with the culture openly, even if they look at degenerate shit in secret. Still true even today. The loudmouthed retards like Nullbulge are also people who eventually get vanned by the feds, or get arrested for crimes.
