Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I'm shocked that a series where all the slightly interesting characters (as interesting as any of the characters ever were) got massacred in one episode by a 90-pound man made of breadsticks and hair oil wearing a copypasta-face helmet did not bring sufficient return on its feature film sized production budget

In hindsight, I think Filoni and Favreau might had damaged Star Wars the most. But not for the reason you might think.

It's not that they did the worst Star Wars. They didn't. Quite the opposite. They arguably made the least bad Disney era Star Wars content. Some parts might had even been good depending on who you ask. It's not important right now.

I think so because they gave fans false hope that things would get better. Star Wars should have sunk after Rise of Skywalker at the latest. But instead, it's been suffering a slow death. And I don't meant it's quality or soul. Arguably Star Wars died the instant George signed those papers and gave it away to Disney.

I mean it in the sense that the fandom should have turned one Disney along time ago. But instead it's been years of a civil war between fans that know Star Wars is terrible versus those that are in full copium and denial mode. And the activist that keep fooling the later.

Star Wars is like a terminally ill braindead patient that's been barely kept alive by machines. Fioloni and Favreau are those machines. And their fans are the part of the fandom that refuses to pull the plug.

Point is, Disney Star Wars should have hit rock bottom, and burnt, so it could've rises from the ashes . Instead it has been dying a very slow death for a decade at least. And it's just sad to see. Fans full on denial need to learn to let go.

Hang on. I imagine these same people would be into cancel culture and wanting thing they don't like being shut down? But then some lame show they like gets cancelled for being garbage and they're all like "omg my heckin' diverse Star Wars show got cancelled by the wrong side of history 1488 Trumpers. Clearly the Hunger Games needs to be rebooted with a Katniss replaced by a Male protagonist who builds a harem of waifus from each of the 13 districts.

I don't want to spoil Survivor for you if you haven't played it, but I think you'll find a lot of the narrative issues that were present in Ragnarok also turn up there. Although Survivor is nowhere near as bad for sending you on pointless 2-hour quests for a random macguffin that ends up being useless to pad an already threadbare story.

I skipped most of the cutscenes in Survivor and still had a decent idea why I was going where, I watched everything in Ragnarok and still didn't know what the fuck I was doing half the time.

I just hope that as the kid grows up and learns about this stuff he's not too devastated that (a) his father tried to have him disposed of and (b) his mother (more forgivable) nearly gave into pressure to give him up but did refuse to give in to it at the end. The story about the Hamills telling her they would stay together if she got rid of the baby is especially cruel to the mother if true. Trying to make someone choose between the relationship and the child when the child should be the point of the relationship.

They may be able to solve the first season's cliffhangers but if those were the only reason why you want the series to continue, then you'd rather take the notion from the amazing spiderman 2 and let it all fucking end.
That's why I actively believe as many people as possible should sign this fucking petition, let disney flush down more money on unwatchable garbage, let this be katleen kennedy and leslie's legacy and let this talentless nigger release more pathetic disstracks while people mocks her lack of acting skills. Most of my problems with Ragnarok were with the characters being the way they were, that's less of a problem in Star Wars. In fact I hope that they have a greasy Brooklyn Jew in there because Toydarians are criminally underrated in Canon. I don't care about spoilers, I know master Bug Eyes gets killed by Darth Vader and the Arkanian is a bad guy and Cal's best friend is a secret dark jedi.
