The means to playing the flashing pixels on screen are srs bidness. Always has been.I can't believe people are still console warring. I hope you're just dumb college kids.
You have a reading issue? Nobody mentioned skill or difficulty. The game doesn't work properly it's a well known issue, anyone who's played the game for an hour or two will be aware of it. It wasn't an issue in 2, 3 or village in third person mode its uniquely a problem in RE4make where the game just doesn't work. The game has assisted mode for retards who suck at gaming like you
Overwatch is closer to the pixar look big expressive eyes, I have no issue with how it looks except theres inconsistency between characters. Not exactly an unpopular opinion but does anyone here got sick of the same 'blocky fingers, bright and candy coloured semi-realistic cartoon artstyle' look that seem to proliferate in every damn game since mid 2010s? 'The Overwatch/Fortnite' look. it seems to be pervasive to both AAA games and shitty mobile games. It was quirky at first but now it feels like game devs feel like this kind of look meant 'guaranteed that audiences will like it'.
I'm not a sucker for 'realistic' graphic, but you can do stylised graphics that feel interesting - this look is overdone and boring now but most people still love it. Look at how Titanfall used to look vs Apex Legends. Also this bright-blocky artstyle seems to be associated with forced inclusivity and troonism (I hope this doesn't get put in culture war), and egregious microtransactions, but maybe it's just the fact of the gaming industry in the recent years.
yeah kind of, I still think its preferable to the late 2000s 7th gen piss filter and gray buildings shit that was going on thenNot exactly an unpopular opinion but does anyone here got sick of the same 'blocky fingers, bright and candy coloured semi-realistic cartoon artstyle' look that seem to proliferate in every damn game since mid 2010s? It makes sense if you think of Minecraft as LEGO in video game form. Except you're not limited to just building predetermined designs. On the other hand, half the fun of LEGO was building things with your own two hands and Minecraft doesn't really scratch that itch.I don't like minecraft. It's an incredibly boring game with no real purpose or end game. I don't like the blocky building mechanic and for anything to look good you have to build it huge and stand back like it's 3d pixel art.
I'm not entirely sure how someone new to the game is even meant to figure it out since a huge number of things simply aren't discoverable in game without Google.
It's lauded as this masterpiece of gaming and I'm just sitting here confused by what others see in it.
I wonder if that is cause they're also using Unreal Engine, a lot of games that use it tend to look the same character model wise but that might just be me.As for the fortnite look its very ugly, everyone just kinda looks like a ken doll and many games are straight up copying it.
You do know that you aren't obliged to follow Lego building instructions? Slap those bricks together into whatever arrangement your little heart desires. It makes sense if you think of Minecraft as LEGO in video game form. Except you're not limited to just building predetermined designs.
Stand still and wait for your gun to increase its accuracy. It's not rocket science, you moron. You have a reading issue? Nobody mentioned skill or difficulty. Again, you don't seem capable of reading. It is a well documented issue that the game doesn't register shots, even focus shots miss when using a gun without a laser or scope. Enemies can fill the entire bloom of the crosshair while focused and itll still miss. I've played the game extensively and gotten perfect rank multiple times, you're barking up the wrong tree.Stand still and wait for your gun to increase its accuracy. It's not rocket science, you moron.
If you want to yolo aim for the center of mass. It's a game mechanic in 98% of shooters out there.
I theorize this happens, in part, because they release the games so far apart and have a new batch of young fans every time who dislike the next release. They also make the games way too fucking different between titles. It's frustrating because they could've scratched that itch for fantasy settings in the way that Fromsoftware does, for example, but they relegated Zelda to their experimentation grounds rather than refine a good formula.Zeldafags don't know what they want.

It's a nifty game for sure. Designed by the creator of the original and a bit ambitious, as opposed to the American-made sequel Ms. Pac-man which was basically a hard mode romhack made in response to people hogging Pac-man cabs for hours by memorizing patterns. The high speed maneuvering and the way the maze changes during gameplay look forward to the much-later Pac-man CE.Super Pac Man is better than Pac Man
I like how right after this comment there was a big discussion about how much Us Gamers hated playing Fallout 4 for 9001 hoursThe whole "just don't buy it" doesn't work because the greater gaming audience has grown so vast that the normies that don't really care about video games completely undo any effort by the normal gamer and that's not even considering whales.
Yes it doesIt makes sense if you think of Minecraft as LEGO in video game form. Except you're not limited to just building predetermined designs. On the other hand, half the fun of LEGO was building things with your own two hands and Minecraft doesn't really scratch that itch.
Same reason why I thought Oblivion was boring until I played without tgm on. Damn, turns out despite the weight cap, there's a reason to not cheat.Yes it does
Not with your physical hands, but in Survival mode the modest effort of having to harvest the materials with a (very, very token) threat of peril is what gives meaning to the structures you build. You do feel like you worked to create it.
I can't explain people playing in Creative, that I find completely boring.
Its called the Zelda Cycle, its a phenomenon which happens only to Nintendo Games and to a very limited extent Capcom games. The new fans worship the game because its their introduction to the series while the returning fans tend to look down upon the changes, no matter how miniscule cause theyre autistic or their idea of Zelda comes from playing it as a child. Most Zelda games are very very good, there are very few bad games like the DS Zeldas which are themselves mid not actually bad. With that said, TOTK is definitely the beginning of the decline, the post OOT zeldas got away with copying OOTs gameplay style cause of the aesthetic changes. TOTK is literally just BOTW recycled with extra unoptimized shit tacked on, a glorified expansion basically. The open world slop shit will not help them survive long, it was cool to see Zelda go open world like it was cool to see MGS go open world but linearity ages better and allows for better basic mechanics. Open world games have shit basic mechanics and that includes BOTW, none of the basic combat or interactions are anywhere great compared to old Zeldas. Also the puzzle box hub world level design has a lot more depth than open world shit even if its limited and linear.Zeldafags don't know what they want.

This is pretty apt to BOTW/TOTK's praise as those games brought in WAY more people to play Zelda than ever before, hence the amount of dicksucking of TOTK from them as their only point of reference is BOTW and potentially the remaster of Skyward Sword. The new fans worship the game because its their introduction to the series while the returning fans tend to look down upon the changes, no matter how miniscule cause theyre autistic or their idea of Zelda comes from playing it as a child
Most of the backlash I'm seeing on Wukong just feels like Fromdrones are mad that someone else is getting attention for once.
Killzone 2 came out 15 years ago and is, to me, a graphical masterpiece.
I think of the PS3/360 era as the silver age of gaming. It's the last time that game studios were still trying to awe the player and make the coolest game they could. There were cracks showing...but today, this same studio is more focused on making sure you have it beat into your head that only a bigot wants to see a pretty face on a woman.
