When the Savile scandal happened here, the NSPCC started a bunch of institutional sexual abuse hotlines and they had so much response it's going to take another 5 years just to deal with the sheer volume of calls. It's very difficult to get substantial information beyond rampant speculation but institutional sexual abuse happens ALL THE TIME. Like, a truly staggering, incomprehensible amount of noncing has been going on by people in positions of power for decades now. And i'm sure that most of the victims who have spoken up about it aren't looking for internet asspats so they keep it between themselves and the authorities.

It's called Stenography, most applications that ship with a basic image viewing application don't deal with layerd image files well so a really basic tactic is to have the top layer set to lolcat30000 so it looks innocuous but have underlying layers full of the shit you really want to share. The thing is Stegonograhy is as much as a art as it is a science, and it does have legitimate usage (well in some circles), an I can tell you right now that these images have been gone over with a fine tooth comb by interested parties with steganography tools, if there was anything iffy hidden in any of them they would have been found by now.

This was totally innocuous code words for Chinese, Italian, Greek a so forth takeaway meals, it wasn't anything nefarious it was just us being retarded and having fun, Hamish one of my freinds's wife got a little suspicious when she read the emails and to disarm her, Hamish became Lord Scothcworth and when he introduced her to the film club, we all chipped in and rented a Victorian horse drawn cab to bring them round to my place and she got dressed up in a wonderful victorian style upperclass ladies dress, He'll my sister comes along to these nights, and plays the part, it's all in good fun. But from the soutside if you saw our communications it'd look well dodgy.

Having said this I need to organize a new night soon, it's been a few months since the last one.

4chan's opinions often turn on their heads to suit particular instances, so I'm not particularly surprised (especially with /pol/ becoming enamored with Trump.)

As to your other point, that's the way a lot of cases of criminal wrongdoing trend. Lots of organizations like to cite the figure that only 3 percent of all rapists will receive jail time, a statement that I have trouble with on many levels, but that's not my point. My point is that the vast majority of the unprosecuted cases were unreported or had no concrete evidence to support them. Perhaps there's truth to it, perhaps not.

Well the idea of circumstantial evidence is having enough to warrant a real investigation. But like that will ever happen. I read a press released the other day from the FBI/CIA about a massive child abuse operation involving tens of international intelligence agencies over an entire year, rescuing something like 87 children and making 224 arrests in multiple countries.

If the entire worlds law enforcement and intelligence agencies are making that amount of arrests and saving that many children from child trafficking? Then there mustn't be any Child trafficking or abuse problem, right? Except 115 child abduction cases occur each year in the US alone, and you can assume its probably one of the safer places in the world for children. What are the worldwide stats then?
