I disagree, in as far as we’re talking great to mean morally. I was going to do a longer explanation of my position, but it went way to in the weeds into platonic/Aristotelian ethics, and I don’t want to derail the thread. I’d be happy to take it into Deep Thoughts or something though.

That being said, to keep it on topic, despite my moral opposition to birth control, I’m not convinced it should be illegal. Certainly not on the national level. But I also think that states should have the option to ban it, and that Griswold v. Connecticut was thus wrongly decided.
The judiciary was wrong to take that issue from the People, and thus stifle the intellectual discussion on the issue that comes alongside the exercise of democracy.

This! There should be a bill passed putting a stop to dual citizenship. This needs to be a focus. Unfortunately, like term limits and banning lobbying, the people in power are the ones benefiting and will never stop it.

They don't always need Jews directly. Behind everything you have AIPAC, behind that the payment processors, Peter Theil for example. Social media companies, Zuckerberg. Behind that the Club of Rome, Trilateral Commission, behind that the central banks, the IMF. The Rothschilds.

If every company and organization and bank was controlled by Arabs, people would be alarmed. But because it's Jews, people don't want to be racist. 😆😆

I wish more left leaning people would come here because I'm sooo confused by what sane democrats/left leaners want (and I'm not talking about people who just want to sperg and continually bring up old and debunked talking points). What policies would you like to see the DNC promoting and implementing? I'm genuinely curious.

I grew up being conservative, not just because my parents were but because I agreed with most of their policies, although as I grew older I became more center with a tad bit of left. Then Bush's second term happened and I was done. Sat out of voting until 2020. I couldn't stand McCain and Romney and I thought Trump was a joke, and the DNC went all in on abortion and welfare without actually helping anyone that I couldn't vote Democrat. Then the Kavanaugh travesty happened and it was like a boot on the behind because it kicked me to being 100% conservative and way more politically active. But I still think we need a liberal party for counterbalance, just not a crazy one that's going to drive the country off a cliff.

I support Israel because they're God's chosen people (and even He's called them hard-headed for thousands of years) and I'm absolutely against genocide of any people which is what the Muslims want to do to them, but it's ridiculous not to be able to criticize them or have laws saying that everything is anti-semitic. People have lost the ability to see nuance and context, and everything has to be black and white. It's 5000 trashcans full of dumb.

I view VPs as the generalist cabinet member who oversees basically oddjobs the president needs done. Also they act as tiebreaker in the senate and oval office seat warmer when the president dies.

For Pence, he played the Judas role selling out America for Schumer's challenge coin.

You more or less hit the nail on the head. They have a few attacks that were used before and rather than come up with new ones they are just trying to reuse old ones that they know had some effect.

Pence was used frequently to be the straight man to Trump's slapstick. Trump would say off the wall shit, make demands that could never be met, and generally be a bull in a China shop. Then Pence would come along, apologize for his brutishness, and then claim he can convince Trump to lower the demands to something reasonable... and then offer what Trump was actually aiming for all along.

It was actually quite effective on the foreign stage, though met with mixed success on the domestic level.

More broadly to your second bit there, the VP can actually be very useful albeit in an understated way. The President cannot be in two places at once, and the VP can fill critical roles. Even better if they have a skillset separate from the presidents, it lets the president send out his right hand man to perform tasks that need supervision or clear guidance without distracting the President from larger issues.
