Media industries are weird though. Your customer base has no sense of taste whatsoever and so you never have to make anything good, all you have to do is make something that isn't completely awful and it'll still sell gangbusters. Bonus points if a competitor fucks up harder than you did that year because then all the awful garbage you made is forgiven. And even if you do fuck up and release something totally awful it still doesn't matter because people will defend it until they're dying breath if you give them in-game currency to by hats or whatever the fuck.

From what I recalled from a guy I knew, even during his hoi4 days he would actually sperg out a bunch and supposedly his fame from his YouTube got to his head and he kicked them for some "your damaging my reputation!" libtard bullshit. It was incredibly petty as well.
@Wrangel1926 Were you around during the whole Lord Miles drama he got himself involved in or no? I figured to ask since last I saw of Rimmy was him raging setting up a Vietnam Arma op stream and looking like a total meth head not too long after moving down to Melbourne and the Valkyria chronicles. Either way, I am guessing he is absolutely (and quite quickly) losing control to mental and physical health.

He despised HoI4 by late 2018/2019, believe it or not. I remember bringing up in his server once that I hoped he would eventually do a follow-up for a specific series, and he briefly went off on me over it, essentially saying "Shut up, you're not a paying member, don't suggest things" (Fair enough, but it's not like I was at all insisting) along with "The only reason I even play HoI4 now is because of the (monthly IIRC) obligation to do so with patrons". If you ever wondered why he started playing so many other titles, that's probably why.

Unfortunately, the Lord Miles stuff was after my time. We're ancient history in comparison to that, but Valkyria Chronicles was definitely when I was still part of his unit, because I recall watching the first couple videos he uploaded. To my recollection, he was living with his cousin around then to save money, which is amusing considering he bragged on at least one occasion that he "probably made more than anyone else in the unit" around that period, too.

In GOOD news, Hypotheticalhistory just dropped a 6 hour 20 minute nuke on why Austraila and China are no longer friends and why China is a bunch of Niggers. It took animarchy years to put out the Enterprise documentery which was 5.5 hours. Pig's longest i think was the Armata video. Thing is he has edited the entire fucking thing and voiced all of it. For six hours! No gags, no gimmiks, just pure milsperg autism and total chink death.

that is fair. I remember during the Valkyria series he was looking pretty badly methed up with his dyed green hair (unless that was at a different time). I took a view and it seems his channel is taking a different path, fell out of favour with a lot of vtubers and is more or less still uploading Redditor shit. Last I ever recalled was Rimmy trying to act all serious about the lord miles stuff when it was him moralfagging over a random afghani pashtun who would more than likely kill him if he had the chance.

Also he seems to have made a recent HOI4 vid with well... at least an actual woman, but still... I wonder what Bo, ISP and valefisk think of him now. Seems like he is accruing his audience from twitter now.

Come on pig, get your shithole soviet tank recognition game on point, that's a TR-85M1 (soon to be TR-85M1R), not a M-55. The latter is a Slovenian variant of the T-55, the former is an entirely different tank built off the T-55 platform, lengthened hull, different engine (which is NOT the Leo1 engine, as some may suggest, that's an entirely different project), usw.
And let it be on the record, TR-85M1 would absolutely beat a M-55s in a fight
