Look, we really just want to laugh at his shitty gameplay but he purposefully makes it difficult, so it turns to unravelling a 419 scam. So many people left when the mistery died. Yes, it does go to gacha. There's no need to exercise the ol' noggin' any more. The greatest hits of recent years in threads are literally just gaming recaps. That's the shit we want. That's the shit we like. But Phil has a 2 hour prestream podcast every day. Ain't almost nobody got time for that shit.
I don't really think anyone's clamoring for Phil to get a real job. Fuck, it makes no sense. If you can make even minimum wage from the comfort of your own house in your Zelda jammies I say go for it. That's not the part people take issue with. It's not asking for donos either. It's the begathons under duress, the constant stalling, the bullshit. Nobody would have a problem with him if he just begged with confidence. Like this new angle where he's just DA KANG and wants DA KANG's tax? Sure. Go right ahead. If he's not saying it's because he's stressed out or whatever and some retard wants to throw him a twenty, I say go for it. People will still laugh at his trash tier gameplay but that's kind of inevitable.
But I don't think this confident, aggressive beggar angle will stick in the long run, because Phil's fanbase is by necessity full of idiots and he damn well knows he gets his best numbers when he was an adequate begging tale to tell.
