Technically Starcraft was originally proposed by Blizzard as a WH40K game. Along with Warcraft originally a pitch for a Warhammer Fantasy game. Games Wokeshop turned down both ideas and Blizzard just proceeded to release the games they had come up with. Obviously with Warhammer Fantasy it's a little harder to argue since both are influenced by Tolkien, but the Starcraft originally being intended as a WH40K game is pretty solid.

One thing I didn't register until it was pointed out to me in a video i watched recently is in the PS2 and PS3 generation video game enemies were almost entirely men, it was very rare for a game to have generic female enemies. most modern games have about a 50/50 male female ratio for enemies.

Now you can load up the latest Ubisoft AAA goyslop and shotgun a women's head off. Cut her in half, sneak up on her and slit her throat, cut her arms and legs off, turn her into red mist with a hand grenade.

You can brutalize and mutilate women in the worst ways possible in modern games but you can't see their cleavage.

Because that's inappropriate and demeans women.
