Found the urn. Costs $255, plus $69 for engraving.
So Sciggles could pocket about $676. Nice to know.

Legit furry women are gold diggers to their core. If you see a woman with a relatively successful furry man, they're only in it because they found their current wallet. So Sciggles could pocket about $676. Nice to know.
Makes sense, cremation prices are more expensive than I expected. From $800 to $8000. Bariatric cremations obviously going to cost more, like $100-$500 more.I think the markup was due to cremation costs.
The cremation costs were listed separate alongside the medical examiner with an estimate of $3k.I think the markup was due to cremation costs.
It's almost comical how the gofundme has over $200k now, and Sciggles has posted no evidence of any of the listed expenses. Furries went in on faith that the money will go to bills listed instead of asking for evidence. Dragoneer's death is the driving force behind that, as he was a figurehead in the fandom. That gofundme rides entirely on that.So Sciggles could pocket about $676. Nice to know.
The biggest of all of the expenses is somehow "prior contract services owed" at $38.4k. Does this mean that Dragoneer has had a $38k debt hanging over his head for god knows how long with no plan to pay it off? Given the history of the site and it's track record, that's certainly possible.. but if you have a public venue for people who are obviously more than willing to throw money at a problem to do so (FA+), why would you not include this in your stated "operating cost" of $20k so that you could pay it off over time? This will be a running theme. (-$38,400)$38.4k - Fur Affinity prior contract services owed
Second is the medical expenses, which Dragoneer discussed on and off on his social media. While there's no way to know the exact total without having the bills, considering the state of medical costs in the US and the multiple complications involved with treating a 500lb+ individual, this doesn't at all seem impossible.$38.3k - Medical expenses
Next, working capital loan. Maybe someone else can answer this for me, but why would you immediately need to pay back the remainder of a business loan for Frost Dragon Art, LLC in full when Dragoneer dies? Shouldn't this be rolled up into the stated $20k/mo "operating expenses" and paid off normally? (-$32,000)$32k - Working capital loan
Then the two months of operating expenses. FA's subscription page for FA+ currently states that it costs $20k/mo to keep FA running, but due to that page being gated behind a login there are no public archives I can reference to tell me exactly when that number was made known. I defer to the IT dweebs here as to whether that's a reasonable operating cost for a site the size of FA, but to me it seems high. One issue I've seen people raise is that FA was, presumably, already collecting $20k/mo to remain operational. No one is going to drop their subscription in the wake of Dragoneer's death, if anything the opposite would likely happen. So why do they need two additional months worth of cash? Supposedly Sciggles doesn't have access to this revenue stream and these two months of operations funds will be used to keep things going until she does.. but then what? She'll have all those funds plus an extra two months, where will that money go? (-$40,000)$20k - First month estimated FA running costs during legal transition
$20k - Second month estimated FA running costs during legal transition
For the IMVU buyback cost, again, why is it all needed IN FULL RIGHT NOW? This would be owed by Frost Dragon Art, LLC, not personally by Sean Piche. I see no reason to believe that this wouldn't have been baked in to the "operating cost" of FA and slowly whittled down with subscription fees. (-$17,000)$17k - Balance due to IMVU for FA’s buyback (confirmed)
$12.6k for 6 mo of mortgage means $2.1k/mo. Going with the assumption that this is indeed the house in the doxbin for Dragoneer, this is from a 2014 sale for $328,000. That's not unreasonable, and giving a mother who just lost her child 6 months to get affairs sorted seems noble enough.$12.6k - Six months mortgage on Dragoneer's house so Rita has time to sort things
Now why another $10k for FA on top of the $40k? Is it really in such dire straights that it might shit the bed tomorrow? Given it's history maybe, but how much of this is past mismanagement and how much is just opportunism? (-$10,000)$10k - Fur Affinity contingency savings for emergency hardware costs
The medical examiner and cremation fees are interesting. This was originally listed as $3k and bumped up. With a quick search, the average direct cremation cost in VA is $2,484 (and we know it's the direct cost because the funeral cost is listed separately later). For every cremation that occurs in the State of Virginia a local Medical Examiner must certify and sign that the body is approved for cremation. The state of Virginia fee for the medical examiner authorization is fixed at $100. Someone else brought up his weight making it cost more, and from a quick search it looks like at the 400lb+ mark an additional fee is common, between $100 and $500. Let's go with the high watermark there of $500. Beyond those costs, I can't figure out what else would be included here and invite someone more knowlegable to correct me. (-$6,416)$9.5k - Medical examiner and cremation (updated estimate)
Until it happens or they at the very least announce what the "public celebration of life" will be, there's no way to break down that cost.$8k - Public celebration of life (estimated)
Ultimately unknowable.$6k - IRS (2022)
Using this handy tool and knowing that the sale price was $328,000 and the current value estimate is $576,900, we can get a rough estimate of the cost: $1,922.81. There's additionally a grantor transfer tax and a congestion relief fee totaling $1,442.35, meaning a sum total of $3435.16. Surprisingly close to the quoted $3.5k.$3.5k - Deed transfer fees
Hard to gauge, especially considering that it's listed as a separate expense to the cremation and could have been anything from a private family gathering with the urn present, to renting out the local Chuck-E-Cheese for a day. Seems roughly reasonable.$3k - Family’s funeral (estimated)
As stated in this post, the urn chosen only costs in the neighborhood of $250 + $70 for engraving, so either Sciggles got majorly ripped off or... (-$600)$1k - Urn (estimated)
Without knowing where the travel is from or to or the mode of transport and other accomedations, $1k seems reasonable, if a bit high.$1k - Rita’s travel costs (estimated)
This was a tough one to research as it seems there's no standard for it. Hospices often offer bereavement services free of charge, but Dragoneer was not ever in a hospice. Some counties have local free bereavement services, but this obviously isn't that. There's paid bereavement counceling, but that sounds like something different. If anyone else has insight here, I'd love to hear it.$1k - Bereavement home services (added cost)
Lawyer retainer fees go all over the place, $500 absolutely doesn't sound out of the realm of possibility.$500 - Estate Lawyer Retainer
These two extra "???" line items are real possible costs, but with all of the above it just reeks of leaving yourself more??? - Estate attorney fees
??? - IRS 2023 (unknown total at this time)
Estimated Total: $221,800
Actual Expenses: $77,384
Sciggles Tax: $144,416
This might be from the coding work on the original fa redesign that never got launched because it was so fucking awful. dunno thoThe biggest of all of the expenses is somehow "prior contract services owed" at $38.4k. are there really 4k people paying for FA+? LOL.. One issue I've seen people raise is that FA was, presumably, already collecting $20k/mo to remain operational.
Move into a smaller fucking house in a more affordable state.$12.6k for 6 mo of mortgage means $2.1k/mo.
They're scamming you. That's what furries get away with because you're not allowed to call out scammers on furaffintiy.I can't figure out what else would be included here and invite someone more knowlegable to correct me. (-$6,416)
this is the most blatantly frivolous waste of money they've got on hereUntil it happens or they at the very least announce what the "public celebration of life" will be, there's no way to break down that cost.
Oh wait, it's actually you. Cool. Nice picture! Your sense of humor clicks with mine most of the time.View attachment 6347202
I received a few disgruntled replies on the cruciFAxion picture, exclusively from people I never hear from otherwise. This one yesterday is unique in being first to assume I made the drawing AFTER the "hack" or use the pillar terminology at me, on a totally different website, where you can't converse in the comment section, and from someone whom I cannot determine actually has a furaffinity account, which seems to mean he is less than proud of the association. But plainly is in deeper than I am to now believe Dragoneer is at the core not just of furrydom but of all art. I doubt most furaffinity users knew much about him before his death (and plainly they still don't), what is the likelihood that persons who never had anything to do with it are toasting his fantastic deeds?
They have a line item earmarked for the IRS in there but lol, lmao. You know the answer.I just had a realization. Since there was so much fuckery with Dragoneer and things like mysterious loans and stuff, I wonder what's going to happen come April when the federalies start sniffing around for their cut. Another GFM?
Actual Expenses: $77,384
Sciggles Tax: $144,416
The reason why Sciggles is asking to pay it off now is because she wants to use the community to wipe out all debts entirely so she can take the reins with no personal skin on the game. Most people start a business or a website and have debt as a result, something Sciggles does not have the money to do judging by her previous GFM and E-Begging. Sciggles made the GFM partly so that she doesn't have to use her own personal money to acquire the site legally. That's what all the legal and lawyer fees quoted in the GFM is for.For the IMVU buyback cost, again, why is it all needed IN FULL RIGHT NOW? Doesn't it operate at a loss though? If the guy was in debt it must have. Either that or he wasted all of the money on door dash which is possible. The reason why Sciggles is asking to pay it off now is because she wants to use the community to wipe out all debts entirely so she can take the reins with no personal skin on the game. In a nutshell, wants to pay as little personal money as possible before being crowned Queen Furry and soaking up all that clout and e-fame. What better way to do it than to frame it as a way to 'honor' someone who passed to clear out their debts. Then Sciggles can start raking in that Ad and FA+ money without having to do a single thing except sign her name on a paper.
