The link to the PDF version of his book didn't make any difference as far as his sales go. ALL mainstream books/novels are available in pirated Ebook formats, sometimes even before they're released to the public. That doesn't stop those books from making sales records, ending up on best sellers lists, etc. If the quality is there, people are still going to buy it.

He made no money on his book because it's a shit book by a shit person. Period.

I think one of his biggest issues is his inability to understand another person, read their cues or empathize with their perspective. He has consistently said that if people just listen to what he has to say people will instantly take his side. He has consistently said that his songwriting would propel him to fame and fortune if only someone would give him a chance. He has said his books would be bestsellers and would be so articulate that you would weep for his underdog tale.

He sincerely believes all of these things, and the entire planet has been telling him the exact opposite of what he wants to hear all this time and he still holds these beliefs. His development is fully arrested and has been for a long time.

Yes! He always wants the chance to explain. He has been beside himself that he has been denied the opportunity to explain himself in court. When he does get to explain himself, it always is heard by people who hate the disabled and can't understand that sometimes Russ is just being a "shock jock".
