Happening, some boards have had all the threads within their catalogs completely wiped/404'd. So far it apparently seems to have happened to /a/, /trash/, /mlp/, /b/, /d/, /lit/, /cm/, /co/, /biz/, /bant/, /fit/, /aco/, /h/, /3/, /diy/, /int/, /c/ and /an/. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

this only annoys me because /3/ had some decent threads of people posting 3d tutorials/references

Well shit, I stopped browsing sometime around 2017-2018 since I couldn't stand the wave of obnoxious lefties who seemed to have invaded the board. Guess I'll have to check the board regularly from now on.

Wrong. /tg/ followed /co/ in being the first boards to fall to the overwhelmingly left leaning tumblr fanbase spreading onto 4chan. it further descended into ERP due to quest threads.

Glad there are people out there who recognize what happened to /co/, that place is insuferable now.
As for quests I never cared or got the hype for them, sure some are legendary but you can count them with the fingers of one hand. I recall quests getting a ton of hate before they got their own board and I could see why since they took a huge chunk of the first page; once I entered a quest thread out of curiosity, it was a spider-man quest (wtf) and the OP advertised a twitter (WTF?) for updates.
Then they got their own board and the bitching of questfags never ended:
- But now nobody will find out about our quests!
- they were a part of /tg/ culture!
- it killed /tg/!
- it killed creativity in the board!

Fuck off with your revisionism, people were BEGGING for something to be done about quests threads the same way users begged moot to do something about generals on /v/.

I was monitoring this thread and successive threads discussing these posts when they were made. The OP claimed to have "intimate knowledge" but then went on to reveal nothing that can't be gleaned from decades of published UFO related research. It comes off like a very poor LARP.

I prefer the one where Anon talks about the ship off Jupiter.
The key points were:

• The post was a deadman's switch from a "government contractor" that he created after "they" killed someone he knew named Walter Ashcroft.
• There's a damaged space station orbiting Ganymede with a massive hole in it. It's shaped like a sphere inside a toroid with the two pieces rotating in opposite directions.
• It's about 920ft across, emits no light or radiation, no signs of life. They only know it exists because on June 6, 2020 it emitted a 6sec signal that Juno picked up. Juno took photos but they're all in a guarded vault now.

I like all the specific details, and what made it more fun was the date of posting was October 22, 2020 and then in July 2021 NASA found that radio signal coming off Ganymede.
