I have two children in grade school. The teachers are not teaching anything to these kids. They're dancing at school instead of learning. Back to school night the teachers were talking about a flash dance mob that they're working on with the kids (my child is one of the 'big kids' at elementary school, this isn't a kindergartener). One of my children's classes has 41 kids in it. I have my child in reading tutoring because they are behind. Gee, I wonder why. They're learning how to dance instead of read.
41 kids?! Jesus that ratio is bananas. That makes me suspect that the problem lies with administration and a poor work environment at the school, if they can’t retain enough teachers to have a smaller classroom ratio than 1:41. Now imagine if any 5 of those 41 students has an IEP. Jesus wept.

Regarding the reading tutoring, there is an interesting podcast about how teachers are actually teaching kids to read called “Sold A Story.” It’s a few years old now but it’s a very fascinating peek behind the curtain into the world of curriculum development and how political it actually is. Basically: libshit blue hairs stopped teaching kids to read properly because an icky Republican was the one asking them to do so and instead implemented a feelings-based literacy program that is about as effective as nothing whatsoever while costing an arm and a leg. I wonder if your kid was “taught to read” that way and that’s why they’re struggling now.

"I loved that both my parents were rarely at home because they were both working," said no child ever.
I kinda wonder if the rekita kids would say that.

I m getting ready to walk down to the jr high to sub a class.

the kids are gonna be sitting on instagram all fucking day....also they start beef on instagram and try to set up fight for instaclout.

This short spot of hers cracked me up. I'm sure politics didn't used to be this direct, did it?

"Democrats are full of gay shit, pronouns and more gay shit".

Trump changed things. It's not going back.

From my understanding politics back in the old days was very direct. When they weren't doing pistols at dawn they were heinously insulting each other.

>Not Rich
>Low Six Figures

fuck, our economy really is screwed, isn't it?
I’d say that “rich,” starts somewhere around 500K. 100K-200K is “doing well for yourself.”

They still can't help themselves but lie every time they mention the "bipartisan border bill". Even in a story like this.
I hate these people.

Covid taught me that the "government-funded daycare workers" hold a lot more influence and power than you think.

People were quick to jump on the "teachers are essential workers and HEROES!" bandwagon, as they, you know, convinced the world that they shouldn't be forced to go to work and do their jobs properly.
I agree with that, but I know people who are teachers, who do not have main character syndrome, and the stories they tell me about the behaviour of administrators, kids, union leaders, and parents are baffling. The stuff you're talking about happens in globohomo districts and is propagandized by union bosses. Most teachers get treated like shit.

Looking at Kamala, she appears to be much more anxious now than four years ago. I’m guessing a lot of it has been drug abuse + the fear of now being the official nominee and having a shot as president. She’s jittering and stumbles on her words a lot more, even if she does her best to not give a word salad (she still does). I’m guessing that they plan to have her completely sedated for the night of the debate, but she’ll probably wash it down with some alcohol as well. This is the only reason as to why she’d like to be seating—even the corpse of Biden and his puppeteers agreed to have him standing.

With public schools, it’s paradoxical in how they operate. A teacher will get told they’re “essential” and “necessary” for kids, but at the same time, get paid crap wages. This creates a problem where the people that would put up with this more are essentially activists, and possibly have a spouse or family to fall back on to make up for lack of income in the profession. People that need more financial stability won’t go into teaching unless it’s at a richer school district, or at a private school. So, as a result, people that would be higher quality teachers are scared away from the profession due to lack of money in it, and you get stuck with more activists. This isn’t to say every teacher is this, it’s just the structure of how it operates creates more teachers like that. People that would otherwise make for fabulous science or mathematics teachers are going into engineering and computer science, because there’s more money in those fields. If schools are more willing to pay teachers better, and increase standards, they will get higher quality teachers. You can’t actually get higher quality unless you’re willing to pay. Otherwise, you get high turnover and lessening quality of instructors.

Oh yeah, I don't doubt that happens.

About a year ago, there was a trend on TikTok where some very young teachers were expressing how disillusioned they already are because they are roadblocked on actually doing their jobs properly.

They talked about how they're required to "pass" kids who are flat-out illiterate and failing everything, how poorly behaved Gen Alpha is in general, and how they just can't get anything done as a teacher and all parents should be concerned/start paying attention.

#NotAll definitely applies here, but it seems that the teachers who hold the most influence and "power" in our country are the ones with the martyr complexes. They are some of the most entitled people on the planet.

At this point I'm not convinced we will have any debates.
I predicted this more or less as soon as Harris was officially made the nominee. I said, outright that her clear intent was to pull out of the Fox News debate then make rules and changes so onerous that Trump would decline the ABC one. And look what theya re now clearly trying to do.

If Trump barrels through and just keeps refusing changes expect Harris to pull out, citing -Trump- putting "unreasonable demands" on her.

Harris can pull out. Trump can have a town hall by himself. It makes her look weak than anything.

I am all for getting my kids out of this faggot school system and into private Christian school but my fat ex wife who has 'single mom' in her instagram bio says no because "I don't want to raise kids in a religious school". You'd rather send them to school with all of the faggots, trannys, furries, tampons in the boys bathroom?

Pray for me kiwibros (including you @StarkRavingMad, I'm still sus of your gender).
I doubt she is fat and i think she says no because you act like whiny manbaby who will demand her to pay for it. If you want your kids in private christian school you should pay for it in full upfront for a year if you are actually serious. I suspect you just toss that at her and she gave you more reasons than religion like dunno: its fucking expensive and she cannot afford it.

Second if this is actually true you choose through and through a libshit woman then you are selfish prick for breeding with her and you should get a fucking vasectomy because you obviously can't make life altering decisions like an adult and you can't behave like a normal person when you have to share custody so you resort to gay moves to prove the other side is a dickhead or score some petty bs points against her.

So, teachers are in an interesting position. They get paid a decent wage, usually commensurate with education level and time in grade - the higher your degree and the longer you are with a district, the more you get paid. This can range from $50k to almost $100k per year, depending on the district. This is their yearly salary. They also receive a government pension and have significant protection due to their union. I've heard stories of teachers physically assaulting students in an altercation and getting shifted around different schools by their union in order to protect their pension. Very few industries will do this for an employee making $50-100k per year.

Teachers also get the entire summer off, during which they do not have to work. Most teachers worth a damn have regular summer jobs, while the idiotic ones "travel" or sit on their ass and blow all their money. These are the ones who always complain about not having money.

If you make $60k/year plus whatever you make from a summer job, that's not an insignificant amount of money to live off if you're single and not living in The Big City™. Think of teachers more like police officers, government bureaucrats, and so on: it's a government job. It's safe, you have union protection, and a pension. Not a bad gig, considering all that you need is a Bachelor's degree and a few certifications.

Private schools can sometimes be worse than public because the profit incentive means that if enough customers complain about something retarded, you have to act or you lose money. Meaning: if Little Johnny and his gang of shitbirds complain about Mr. Johnson too much, even if he's otherwise a perfect teacher, you have to consider removing him because you don't want Little Johnny and The Shitbirds (plus all their parents) to take their money elsewhere.

What needs to happen is public schools need to trim their administrative bloat, there needs to be more oversight of how school districts spend their money, and schools absolutely have to go back to the days where they gave students F - and all the consequences of that. Right now, in most districts, F grades are auto-correct to a D- so that students are pushed through the system. In my day, you got held back if you were a shitty student and no amount of bitching would change that. Nowadays, people who can't read or do basic math get pushed through because overpaid administrators don't want to deal with it.

Most issues with public schooling have to do with the new administrative class. Classroom teachers and superintendents (who were often classroom teachers themselves) don't do this crap. There are some classroom teachers who are in favor of all this "pass no matter what" bullshit because it's an easy job, but most teachers are not. How would you feel if your job was to make life-saving medical equipment but you constantly put out shit that won't save lives? The answer for most people is not good.

ETA: One more thing I forgot to add: another major threat to public schools in the US are the local education boards. Activist Marxist retards get elected to these positions and push glohobomo. A lot of times, these activists don't even have kids. People with kids in the school district need to retake these boards.

I noticed that too from her small interaction with the reporters.

I wouldn't be surprised if Valentina Gomez at least lurks here. (If you do, HI! 😁) She truly is the most based politician I've ever seen! Maybe she's been able to have a word in Trump's ear or at least via someone like Corey Lewandowski? Check out a few more of her tweets. And it turns out she has fuck you money, which no doubt helps her not give a shit about what anyone says about her. I think having more rich politicians as based as this would help things. I know people talk about getting the money out of politics and I generally agree but it's hard for good poor people to fight bad rich people, so there's nothing wrong with having some good rich people on our side to help us fight back. The second pic is of a couple of people being utterly BTFO after accusing her of just being a grifter.

In a year or so this woman will write a think piece talking about how she didn't like how she was treated in conservative spaces by men. We've seen this song & dance before.
