Most issues with public schooling have to do with the new administrative class.
That’s pretty much the problem with the medical industry too.

The administrative class is way over bloated, and it’s why there’s more inefficiency. You obviously need some, but there’s way too many now. It needs to be paired down by a lot, because it just contributes to higher healthcare costs and lower quality service. A model like this isn’t sustainable, because eventually you get too many administrators and not enough people to actually administer over. It’s a growing problem, and the administrative class needs to be kneecapped.
i live this every day.

Around 100 person department providing care. 1 big boss, 2 sub bosses for mundane shit and handling vacations.

Meanwhile, big boss has 6-7 administrator to report directly to, And 5 more "layers" of admin overhead.
The admin building right next to the hospital is fucking bigger than the hospital itself
This is what "guaranteed money" does, whether it be insurance (healthcare), taxes (public education), government-guaranteed loans (higher education), etc. When you bike pump funds into the technicolor furry belly button an organization, it will bloat up until it's gurgling with useless positions and expenses unnecessary to the accomplishment of its mission.

And that's why more and more doctors are doing direct care, where they don't take insurance and just take a flat fee per month for a lot of stuff. And then charge for tests at market rate (which is often cheaper than insurance). Like concierge but made to be affordable for the typical person. Even doctors are sick of this shitty system and want out of it.

Looking at Kamala, she appears to be much more anxious now than four years ago. I’m guessing a lot of it has been drug abuse + the fear of now being the official nominee and having a shot as president. She’s jittering and stumbles on her words a lot more, even if she does her best to not give a word salad (she still does). I’m guessing that they plan to have her completely sedated for the night of the debate, but she’ll probably wash it down with some alcohol as well. This is the only reason as to why she’d like to be seating—even the corpse of Biden and his puppeteers agreed to have him standing.
That's the fun thing about alcoholism, the more the drinker relies on alcohol to "take the edge off" the more they become utterly incapable of functioning without booze.

In US business news: Apple's CFO is stepping down. It does not appear to be a CFO jumping ship (which is usually a sign that a business is fucked), but rather a shift in how Apple approaches its internal monetary policy.

You need public education. Why do you think Africa, the Middle East, India, and Asia are filled with idiots? A lot of them can't read, do basic algebra, nor do they understand basic biology.

Education is, overwhelmingly, a local and state issue. The funding for your local schools comes from your tax dollars, not the tax dollars of someone in another state. Education systems have policies set down by the Board of Education (a local, elected position). Those policies are executed by superintendents and administrators (the latter of which has become serious bloat on education systems nationally). Major teaching unions have a hand in fucking with policies and administration, but - ultimately - they cannot tell local districts what to do if the districts hold their ground.

The reason why school districts are failing is because: A) activists get control of the Board of Education, B) useless administrators bloat up the district, and C) the parents don't band together to oppose this. In districts where the parents do band together, unions and activist groups come in and try to stop it. Ultimately, though, parents can, and have, kicked out these retards by voting them out and taking a more active role in their local education system. The problem is that it requires regular people to stand up and do something.

Kamala Harris says, if elected president, she’ll use executive action to confiscate guns if Congress doesn’t act within the first 100 days of her administration
Her answer could fit this quote. But I did not hear a concrete question in this clip, just an answer which a Twitter post has led me to with their interpetation included.

I would not be surprised if Harris did believe this. But I did not see that in this clip.

I mean - not literally.

Being a teacher sucks - the pay is generally dogshit, the school system admin staff is dogshit, and it's extremely hard to get into - for every teacher there's like 10 or 20 "permanent subs" waiting for an opening. The "hero" stuff is just the window dressing they use to justify the dogshit conditions that being a teacher entails.
You get 2+ months worth of vacation every single year as a teacher, and you have job security like no other once you're "in."

There are definitely perks you get as a teacher than you don't get anywhere else. I understand that being a teacher (especially one who actually cares about the work they put in) can be difficult ... But I'm tired of pretending that teachers work in the worst conditions imaginable and only a saint would take the job. Nah, there's definitely perks to it, too.

It's very much the Democrat playbook to weaken a profession - you create conditions where the really smart people find different jobs and then reap the reward of an issue to mine forever. You're also seeing this real time with police (such as "oh a woman grabbed her gun instead of taser oops" or "a woman was a cumdump for 6 other officers for several years oops").

I'd wager that in a few years you'll see "Defund the Schools" as a political topic.
I wish "defund the schools" was a topic yesterday.

That said, Trump's proposition to end the Department of Education is a good first step.
