Personally, while I have developed a whole new level of skepticism about vaccines since covid, autism is generally a thing that is being diagnosed more frequently because our "knowledge" of it has grown over the years.

Autism is a relatively "new" medical term, especially when talking about the spectrum, so it's being diagnosed and spotted more frequently now. That makes me not want to jump on the "vaccines cause autism!" bandwagon. I'd like to see more data on this (but, we probably won't).
If it's simply a case of our knowledge of autism and diagnostic criteria being improved, then why aren't there more adults being diagnosed with autism?

And, as harsh as this sounds the only solution to the cartels is systemically genocide the mexican people and replace it with your own people ala Israel colonizing Palestine
You are correct, but I would argue that you need to take it a step further and combine a systematic genocide taking place in Mexico in conjunction with mass deportations of all illegals, all domestic-born descendants of illegals, all """"""""legal"""""""" immigrants that were given amnesty in 1986, and all descendants of """"""""legal"""""""" immigrants that were given amnesty in 1986.

You want to talk about piece of shit second generations that absolutely prioritize other nations over their own country? Mexican-related pieces of shit are some of the most traitorous bastards you can ever have the displeasure of meeting. Any Mexicans in the United States will absolutely hamper any progress towards nationalism because "MUH TACOS AND ABUELAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". It's fucking disgusting and they need to all be put into the same country and bombed together.

The only good Mexican is a deported and bombed Mexican.

don't know the term but i'm assuming you mean like too much sugar during pregnancy? wouldn't that mean that autism should be so much more common within minority populations? also if true how would vegan or vegetarian pregnancies ever get autism.
Gestational diabetes is more or less that, but some women who are not diabetic will get gestational diabetes during pregnancy as hormonal changes cause insulin disruption. And as for vegan and vegetarian pregnancies, nothing about their diets makes them less likely to get GD, because carbohydrates break down into sugar, and their diet do not prevent the consumption of carbohydrates. I have known plenty of "vegans" and especially "vegetarians" who basically just replace the meat they used to eat with bread and pasta.

If it's simply a case of our knowledge of autism and diagnostic criteria being improved, then why aren't there more adults being diagnosed with autism?

There are actually a decent number of late-diagnoses these days, but getting diagnosed is expensive and there are insane waiting lists for providers who do so, partly because autism is also the new fad diagnosis and people are lining up out the door for their tard card.

Most high-functioning (do we even call it that anymore, idk I’m old) autistic adults have also just sort of learned to deal at this point, and taking the time/spending the money to get a sheet of paper confirming their nebulous mental illness isn’t really going to change anything.

Kamala is taking Walz to that 'interview' because it will be a white-guilt reverse minstrel show.

Kamala will be painted as strong blick, indian woman. Waltz wil be painted as useless, bumblefuck gay white guy who has to follow the lead of super-intelligent stronk black woman.
The seals will be fed fish, ordered to clap - and they will, and the MSM will fall all over how great Kamala is.

Post interview the polls will show Kamala is 65:35 in favour of Trump, making him the "least popular president and candidate in history". Ya know, projection from how bad Biden was, like how Trump lost to the same amount of votes that Hilary did.

Yeah it was fricken awesome man, sorry for your loss
I played Q3A and UT quite a lot, when multiplayer was still good. Then went to mostly Battlefield series, first few were great. Then for some reason I got the One one, about WW1. Just awful. Tried 4 and the fun was mostly gone by then, sucks. The early days of LAN Doom/Quake and then Q3A were truly magic.

Frankly, there is no point discussing politics and you're going to discuss them who believes the opposite of what you believe. People like destiny want right wingers to be shot, what even is there to discuss with people who believe you're fundamentally evil?
Oh, I wasn't going to discuss politics with them, when I heard their personal politics were very liberal I knew there was no point talking to them beyond "hey" when they're around. I just don't see the point of them talking politics with each other when they were already friends and both clearly believe the same things. It's an echo chamber with only 2 people.

RFK had an excellent point about autism. If this was always a thing and we are just now noticing it, then where the hell are the autistic people that are his age and older?
They're cutting meat at your local deli.
They're putting down tile in houses.
They're driving and unloading trucks.
They're working as commercial fishermen.
They're showing up to every city hall meeting for decades to talk about one niche issue that only they care about.
They're getting into arguments online with other autistic boomers about topics that you can't even imagine someone caring about, let alone arguing about in a thread going back to 1998.

You know how a lot of millennials and Gen Z kids will describe literally anything nerdy or weird as "autistic?" Boomers are the opposite of that. They're not able to recognize mild autism because they literally lacked the vocabulary and culture of even knowing what autism was. To a guy born in 1950 autism is that thing that your friend Tommy's mute little brother has. Boomers see it as an on/off switch, not a thing that you can have a little bit of.

And why do people need to care about what you believe unless they ask you specifically? I don't go around saying "I believe that ice cream should be free" when nobody asks.

I have some boomercons from work on FB and the rare times I take a look at that those guys are doing it too. Just completely unprompted making text posts "if guns kill people then spoons made Rosie odonnel fat lol" "I believe marriage is between a man and a woman" "show up with a firm handshake and don't ever call in sick or take vacation you'll do fine!"

The Harris campaign and DNC shit themselves and have backed out (for the second time in a few days) on the rules they agreed to (twice now) for the ABC debate

Real clown show hours. Trump has changed his position zero times, debate on ABC September 10th with the same rules as the CNN debate vs Joe

Kumala agreed. Then she didn't. Then she did. Now she isn't again. All in like 72 hours

And then they just keep taunting Trump over it with zero self-awareness. This is r/politics running a major party presidential campaign :story:

And still, and in perpetuity, you can never hate journalists enough. Trump said he preferred uninterrupted live mics but he had agreed to the same setup as the Joe debate and he was sticking with that. Reuters doesn't refer to that part of Trump's remarks to create the false impression that he has also backed out on the debate rules. He has not
She's a pussy punk bitch.

You may be asking: Does this belong in a US Politics thread?

Nothing to see here ….just big pharma imposing law by lobbying politicians to inject kids with poisons….not unlike the food industry and the continuation of the toxic pesticide glyphosate (banned in many countries in Europe and throughout the world).

The pharmaceutical industry is far and away the biggest spenders when it comes to lobbying politicians at the local, state, and national levels.

There are currently 1,834 registered lobbyists working for the pharmaceutical and health industry, meaning it has more than three lobbyists for each member of Congress.
The government provides immunity for all possible adverse events for approved vaccines as long as they fall within expected outcomes. If vaccines don't cause autism it should be removed from the immunity actuarial charts.

Slight PL but does anyone else ever feel just fucking pissed that this globohomo shit has basically prevented us from living the lives our boomer parents enjoyed? I get that it's a very millennial retarded thing to blame the boomer gen but sometimes it makes me MATI that they got to live some great fucking lives and have cooperated in a rugpull. It could be argued that things were set up for the decline before they were even born and you'd be right, but still, it'd have been nice to live in the era of American comfy instead of constantly bouncing from one politically driven crisis to the next. I feel like the worn aged wojak at the same point my parents were living the golden years of their lives.

Every generation takes away something they enjoyed from the next. The Boomers took away the ability to find a spouse and own your own home. The Millennials took away the ability to call your opponent in an online game a n1663r f4gt4rd.

Make a deal with Mexico's government to let him drone strike cartel targets.

Mexico's Morena government works for the cartels.

I feel pissed all the time. I get for most old people it’s not their fault, but it truly feels like us in the younger generations are getting fucked over constantly. So many people finished out highschool locked inside their homes, the economy is so horrible that getting our start in this world is damn near impossible, and to top it all off we’ll never see the benefits of all the bullshit we pay into. I don’t mean to sound like a victim, but there seems to be no future for us.

Honestly all you can do it try to wake other younger people up. A lot of them still live in their bubble. The media constantly lying to them, furthered by 14-18 or so years of schools lying to them has not helped.

I feel pissed all the time.
Same. Gen-X'er here so I got the tail end of the best of days. Raised in the 70's with a SAHM, hit the job market running in the mid-80's with just a high school diploma. Back when fun was allowed, nay encouraged! You could get a 1-bedroom apartment for $375 a month!

Now, restaurants suck ass and cost way too much, bars are hipster central and the language police are out in full force, bowling took away manual scoring and the niggers took over, flying is such a PITA it stresses you out so much it's not even worth it (and the plane might fall apart lmao) - it just goes on and on. The social fabric has changed drastically and I don't wanna keep up it's so fucking exhausting. I HAVE THE MONEY NOW, WHY DID YOU RUIN EVERYTHING?

And since there's no going Out There, there's no reason to buy nice clothes. Those cute fall boots? LOL when are ya gonna wear them, I say to myself, before closing the tab.

I mourn the way life used to be in The Before Times, long before most here were even born. I can see how some people get to the point of not even taking care of themselves - all is vanity, some wise person once said.

They've replaced social activities with the workplace, then took even that away with Covid. The death of the Third Spaces.

I told you all in the conspiracy thread that banning smoking in bars oh so long ago was just the beginning of the separation of people (theme from Cheers plays quietly in the background). But hey, I quit drinking - yay, I guess?

I just strive to be thankful for what I have and get through yet another Groundhog Day with you lovely people....

If it's simply a case of our knowledge of autism and diagnostic criteria being improved, then why aren't there more adults being diagnosed with autism?
"Autism" is this generation's "ADD." When kids act funny or behave like shitbirds, they get diagnosed with autism instead of people blaming their parents for being failures.
