Would it have stunted his talent like Shmorky's has been? I don't know. Probably not. He fit most of his weird perversions into his art without it turning into pointless, masturbatory drivel of interest only to him and lolcow watchers, unlike Shmorky.

So I found this thread the other day and thought I could shed some light on Dave Kelly's early online history from around 2000. I knew him back when he called himself Dave Bunny and had several keenspot webcomics, his own oekaki board (as well a secret diaperfur one) and when he used to frequent #oekaki-hell back on IRC.

To round out some of what you already know. Dave has had huge issues for going on 2 decades I know of. Back in the oekaki art days he used to run scams like sockpuppeting troll attacks on himself for sympathy from all his furry friends. This backfired when someone actually attacked him by making a website about how shit he was and all his diaper drama, then to tell this person off he sent them a fuck you drawing. Which was then posted to the site and everyone knowning Daves style figured this was just another sockpuppet pity party and ditched him due to the graphic nature. picture included!

He used to roleplay pissing himself in public on the irc channels as well as emoting cutsie baby stuff then promptly oh look pissing all over myself pay attention!

He e-dated several girls from his fanpile. This was his undoing in the community as after he dumped one of them she exposed his diaper oekaki board that had been an open secret for awhile. Also that he was trying to get her to do piss fetish stuff online and was currently trying to date girls on irc while boinking his furry roommate. I am going to upload the log from when Moonweasel came back into the irc channel under another name to find all her friends bad mouthing her to make dave feel better after the broke up and started dropping bombshells. He later put her furry website up as Awful link of the day as revenge for the goons to go harass her, classy guy.

Dave was a diaper furry he used to go to furry cons. One of the furry artists met him at Anthrocon or something one year and Dave refused to acknowledge or reply to his face to face greetings like a huge wierdo. He took a picture of Dave balding and alone at his artist booth. I saw the bit about him disavowing and leaving the furry community over their rejection of him trying to claim rape after blowing for rent. I think I actually met the guy he used to blow on IRC and I don't think he had any clue that Dave told people he was a rapist. He said Dave was super paranoid of stalkers out to get him and ruin his life and how there was a conspiracy against him. He tried to get everyone to delete art he had gifted or sold to try and erase his davebunny character from the web. He now plays off like he was gay for pay. Like how he ran 3 comics at once, the amount of this diaper art was at one point staggering. His various ex's and art creepers from that time have hundreds of pictures which are not suitable for viewing. I only however have a couple tame ones remainging cause fuck someone finding the really gross stuff he did on my computer after I die.

I didn't read back too much but you are all familiar with the "Cumulus clouds" incident I take it? Where Clayton Olney an autistic kid who was a wikipedia moderator or whatever its called tried to stop Dave and some people from FYAD from vandalizing articles. Dave somehow got ahold of his account or otherwise impersonated the guys Cumulus Clouds account on wikipedia leading to him getting banned. Dave also wrote on his wiki user page how Clayton died shooting up his college when after his rampage he placed the gun into his rectum and pulled the trigger. Apparently losing his Wikipedia account and getting banned was too much to deal with and the kid hung himself. I saw the comment from dave where he was like oh god he actually did it. The goons went and wiped the guys user page and everything like a week later. So yeah totally trolled a kid into suicide.

I tried to warn Lowtax when he hired Dave about about all the diaper shit and how it was going to be a huge problem but he shrugged it off, I had to go incognito for ages cause I didn't want to get my ass banned and the whole SJW tone the goons started taking plus letting this guy basically do whatever really put me off to the whole SA community.

Bit of a fucking ramble to be sure but if anyone has any questions about any of this. I will try to answer them.

Oh shit I forgot about this one. I snagged it right when it was getting posted on the SA forums. Lowtax got married and Dave was in attendance and sat around like a serial killer doodling pictures and looking at people with his short eyes. He had this picture scrubbed from the forum because it would allow his stalkers to find and rape kill him.

I mean seriously who fucking attends a wedding and sits around like hes a mash up between Gacy and Dahmer refusing to socialize.

So the only one I know for sure he went to was one of the furries who knew him attended the same convention and took a picture of him. From what I can tell he was extremely anti social in person and this made it really awkward for people to get commissions from him. I gave him shit about it once and he went into a rant how he doesn't go to those anymore and how it was a mistake. He made some comments about how people wanted him to draw animal cocks and stuff and he got all mad about it like they exploited him or something. It was really hard to sort his bullshit out unless you had a third party to confirm it.

I tried looking for the picture. I will see if anyone I know still has it as I shared it but lost it several computers and backups ago.

Unfortunately no. I only had one more of him standing at his artist booth at the con and apparently none of my old timey friends still has it saved. That shit was taken with a real camera and everything then scanned into a computer as I recall. Most of the pictures on Encyclopedia Dramatica came from him cam whoring to whatever weirdos who were into his comics or a list of fan girls he tried to con into being his mommy.

Those pictures being released as part of his split + diaper exposé are what I am pretty sure drove him away from his comic fandom hugbox and into the loving arms of Something Awful and lowtax. I can only imagine what even more pictures and dox being released would do.

The best part was that it was not a furry IRC channel like there were 4 or maybe 5 furries including Dave. They also had their own furry oekaki channel Dave was banned from. He was doing his piss pants stuff in front of anime nerds and various jaded art fags. This one Dutch girl Pixie was talking about Dave after he had his meltdown and left. How she came into the chat with her boyfriend one day and Dave decided to pick on him by starting to aggressive roleplay how he was climbing into his lap and then promply wet himself upon doing so. Dude flipped the fuck out obviously.

His sycophants were so deluded to his mind numbing bullshit they just thought the whole infantalist persona was some cutesy role play stuff and that he was actually a normal cuddly artsy farty guy, who was just sad all the fucking time. He used to sic them on people who criticized or made fun of him, as you see in the chatlog where they turn against their friend in order to prove how much they love Davebunny. All these young twenty something art hags flipped their shit when they realized he was actually peepee pants for real. They were fucked up for a couple weeks and were like how could Dave turn out to be such a fucking monster.

I think the best part of the meltdown was he desperately started trying to initiate conversations with the 15 odd people in chat at the time and no one wanted to associate with him. One of the furries who despised him just made nonsense animal noises like "flewp" and "bort" at him as he was basically pleading for him to talk to him. A bunch of people just started dropping out of the main chat to go to private rooms away from him. It was awkward as fuck. You can actually see where he snaps in his old Living in Greytown comic. Towards the end it gets all trippy and this weird sort of devils becoming adam and eve thing and cyclic rebirth nonsense. I recall remarking how we fucking broke him and it totally ruined his only halfway decent comic.

Yeah only some goons and other people even know about it. Was a big fucking deal on FYAD and there was a thread about how they celebrated the suicide cause the guy was running a counter op on FYAD's wikipedia vandalization. Clayton may have been a goon its sort of murky and a lot of the stuff like his wikipedia page have been wiped.
