Qayla will be too deep down the K-hole and April might be busy looking for backup options if Nick's stuck in jail for any notable amount of time.

Best outcome is the compromise solution, where the judge hands him a jail sentence for wasting the government's time, but only for like a month or something. Basically something symbolic.
