Where I live there's one single lane, 80 km/h highway with limited passing opportunities connecting the nearby towns and a significant proportion of boomers on the road. It's somehow actually worse than driving in the city. At least in the city all the retards around you kind of just feel like a force of nature or something. Here though, you know the reason why you're stuck behind a line of cars doing 50 is inevitably because some fucking boomer is fearfully crawling along half blind barely able to keep their vehicle in their lane or on the road at 30 under the limit, or actually believes the yellow suggested speed around corners signs are speed limit signs.

If it's not driving slow as fuck, it's gunning it out onto the highway running stop signs and cutting you off or slamming on their brakes without a warning or a signal and coming to a complete stop to turn right or mistaking the gas and brake pedals and driving through the door of the town doctor's office again and again and again.

There's a local Facebook group for shaming retarded drivers and the amount of boomers on there arguing completely retarded things is ridiculous. Shit like the above mentioned yellow sign bullshit, apparently yield signs are in fact stop signs and somehow, apparently, it's illegal to turn left across double yellow lines. Idk, I do think the boomers are kind of dumb and I like the earlier generation, the boomers were clearly raised in a system where so long as they walked the line, went to college, went to work 40 hours a week, they and their family would always be provided for. Meanwhile their parents lived through shit like the great depression and thus understand reality better.
