David Alter's op-ed about school uniforms can be found on newspapers.com in the Oct 03, 1994 issue of the Evening Standard. So there does appear to be a real British guy named David Alter who is obsessed with school uniforms. I guess it's possible that someone decided to skinwalk as him for their sp00ky ARG, but it's hard to believe that they would go to all the trouble of finding his house and filming in it...

I know people keep parroting this "drowned child" creepypasta shit from Reddit, but I don't buy it personally. I know I've definitely seen something exactly like this before, and I'm not talking about his weird dress-up thing, I'm talking about his other Instagram posts like the ones shown in the thread OP on truth_sticks_11 where he is posting clearly heavily edited images of children that look to be some sort of weird freaky art pieces. The large exaggerated features, colour choices, and just general style/layout of them all seem very familiar to me, and I don't know why. I know this is incredibly unhelpful to the thread, but I figure if I've seen it before, maybe a fellow ancientfag has as well at some stage if this shit was at all widespread somewhere online at some point in the last 25 years.

It's worth noting that this whole thing has been going on for at least 3 weeks, back before the big channels started covering it. I first found out about it from this post on KF. As mentioned there, the early days actually include a YT horror channel being bullied into deleting their segment on SSB9 from a video by the earliest reddit audience gatekeeping the whole thing. The early days also included the first discord server refusing to accept new members and one of the first dedicated subreddits going private as more people took notice.
