Been watching Science Insanity's Battletech videos and oh boy here I go installed Mechwarrior and BT again. Well I had BT installed already but I really need to switch mods.

Yeah i took one of the variants, removed the small pulse laser add the lightweight armor and then gave him an arm and a hatchet to swing at people.
Honestly it looks grotesque with that arm holding the hatchet.
[edit] I forgot the SRMs so I added to SRM2s to it, had to downgrade the armor a bit and added endo steel to save weight but its here in all of its stupid glory.

Probably just Clan Kiwi to play it safe, I don't play MWO so I can't say how janny the jannies are. Maybe Nullers? Double meaning in that case. Named after Null and we nullify your advances or something. So something like what @BlackDragoons said, 1st Null Fusiliers.

Congratulations, gentlemen. I think this is the most confused my to-go artist for shitposts has ever reacted to an idea.

You can get away with almost anything as long as people don't report you. There are a lot of troons in the MWO community though so being overtly a KF unit might cause issues.

I took this from the Falcon Guards logo on the Sarna page. That looks awesome though, we should go with that for the ACK-land Fusiliers. You think we could get away with the dilator being on there?

I'm not too experienced with the system yet, but I actually bought the 2012 box set years ago, and de-mothballed it like eleven years later.
Supplemented it with some Ral Partha and third party metals, and a copy of Total Warfare, because combined arms is rad.
Been playing the odd narrative skirmish in and around 3025/introtech levels with friends.
Last mini-campaign was Kurita invading a periphery world just outside Outworlds Alliance space, forces Under the command of one "Yugioh Pokemon" a confident if inexperienced DCMS commander made landfall uncontested, with his third-rate band of oddballs and washouts, but his forces were whittled down by attrition from guerillas and mercenaries, and he was forced to retreat in disgrace after he lost his two best technicians; one to a rather indiscriminate bombing at what passed for a local technical institute as he was assessing it's facilities, and the other was kidnapped and spirited off to parts unknown.
Here's my dudes; excuse the grainy camera and terrible lighting.

I honestly have no idea. Dilators are usually pretty featureless so... unless someone really knew what we're going for, I don't think anyone could tell what that thing on the logo is. To be honest, the kiwi bird is probably a bigger giveaway.
Another idea I had before talking to the artist was a stylized map of New Zealand with Auckland marked on it with a Cameron star or something. That would definitely be a lot more obscure a reference.
