Well this certainly wasn't on my bingo card. I would think the owner of a franchise that nearly got destroyed by copyright lawsuits wouldn't be this reckless with copyright.

They're not the owners, they just license it from the IP farm that owns it -- Topps, the baseball card company. And Topps has generally let CGL do whatever they want (up to and including that tranny taking over the community manager position and turning the demo team into her own personal army of doxxers and harrassers).

This ends when Topps gets forced to pay attention, which a lawsuit would definitely cause, but CGL aren't very smart, and the key thing to the brainrot inside CGL isn't keeping the fandom or hobby together, it's making damned sure the trannies keep power over the community.

Supposedly this all came about after Sigmarxism was BTFO'd the fuck out of trying the same thing with 40k, some of them moved over to Battletech instead to at least have something resembling a win.

The reality is that while per capita troons consooom more than normies. For every troon in the market you drive out multiple normies out the market and they have a net negative effect. Not to mention the chuds that will go out of their way to fuck with troons.

Concord was also dogshit out the gate. Even if it didn’t have all the DEI pandering shit, it was still another game in a genre with better alternatives. You don’t really drive off normies by pandering to troons, if that were the case DnD would have been dead a long time ago after trying to broaden their appeal as much as they have since 2014.

I always like to refer to how WotC does the diversity thing because they want there to be as wide of a net as possible cast to scoop up as much money as possible, from as many different demographics as possible to be more profitable. It’s never really about inclusivity for genuine reasons, it’s fishing for every dollar. Normoids don’t really care about there being blacks, gays and troons shoehorned into whatever media they consume, just so long as they can consume it. That’s why it’s at the point it’s at now, as we speak.

This might not be news but MWO is pozzed as hell. Years ago during one of the championships they forced a name change of two teams with the names "Trans Rights" and "Trans Fight", PGI quite rightly justified it by saying real world politics have no place in MWO, a bit of a drama later and PGI went back on what they said and really opened the floodgates for that crap.

I'm not really worried about this stuff as it is. I might just be buck broken but seeing these ugly flags doesn't bother me that much. It's dumb but I don't see red with rage over it. I'm sure you don't see them as often as these people probably never get higher than beginner levels for matchmaking, and as such they congregate towards the bottom skill levels where it throws new players. Either way, it's just dumb colors and I couldn't care less as long as they don't shit up the voice chat or try teamkilling or anything.

Would love to, but apparently 2 matches is the limit for me it seems. The game suffers from a several year long issue (it resurfaces every now and again because the devs break shit every patch from what I read) that causes you to be disconnectioned to the mechlab after the match loads and you'll never be able to rejoin the match. Trying to find a new match incurs a growing penalty that prevents you from playing as well for a set time, combined them together and now I have a 10 minute penalty and I'm pretty sure the next one might be 20+. Yeah, if this continues tomorrow I'm uninstalling. Again, several year old server issue that they have not been able to fix properly so it resurfaces, and from what I can tell they pray to the Omnissiah that it fixes itself rather than doing anything themselves. I'll probably submit a ticket and maybe email their support but I won't waste much time on a Freemium game.
