I have a "second-gen" M10X-Z. Neat gun that's pretty accurate and super low-recoil (admittedly some of this is just because the gun is a bit heavy) for what's basically an AK-pattern rifle. The only issue I've had with it in a few thousand through it was forgetting to lock the charging handle in place once after reassembly and having to go hunt for it when it decided to depart the rest of the gun - otherwise, it's run like a champ for me.
I'd think suppressing a SKS would be harder than a AK since it's barrel is 4 inches longer at 20 inches. But if you find a bubbad gun, go for it I guess
The SKS is fun, comes with a bayonet, and still has that classic feel while having some modern features. It's also a literal scaled down anti tank gun, so it's very strong.

LMT already solved the bolt breaking issue with the Enhanced Bolt years ago while keeping a standard barrel extension. Knights and now Centurion are doing it with proprietary bolts that require proprietary barrel extensions.
No they wont. Only if you're a weakling. I have shot a g19 with ramjet + afterburner and it made zero difference in my perception of recoil and accuracy. Because i have a proper grip with enough strength to properly control recoil.
I hope not. It's not bad, per se, to have alter some elements of the AR bolt, but most guys don't know how changes there require changes elsewhere. It's creating a headache for lots of people that's unnecessary.
It could be because I was fudd-indoctrinated by Thunder Ranch in '06, but I'm not a fan of comps on non-race guns.

The Centurion V2 uses a milspec barrel extension, The Centurion E4 uses a KAC barrel extension. The Centurion is also much cheaper than an E-bolt ($380 from anyone who isn't LMT) or even a Geissele Stressproof ($250 vs $125 and comes with dual ejectors). This doesn't mean that the V2 is even say, 80% as good as either of them in any given metric (lifespan of the bolt itself, extraction, ejection) but it clearly means you can get 3 V2's for the price of 1 E-bolt. Whether that's a good deal will require several years of testing and tens of thousands of rounds by maybe a dozen different people.

no. an FFL (federal firearms license) does allow for ATF visits to inspect the premises listed on the license (yes, including even the C&R) because it is a business license for the most part and like any other business license, it is regulated through compliance inspections and audits, and these compliance visits do not require prior notice.

same form, less chance of being rejected. it's also worth noting that for a while it was popular to put NFA items into a trust. for trusts and other legal entities there is some additional paperwork dealing with the trust's address change as well.
Yeah I was thinking about putting this first suppressor I buy on the silencershop “single shot trust” thing, mostly so I can have my fiancée authorized to use/own it after we get married if I ever get killed at work
