So we all know that Phil is terrible with money. What would you say is his single dumbest financial decision?
I'm not as knowledgeable about him as most people here, but I think moving to a new house without selling his old one ranks up there.

I think a lot of people would say spending 6 figures on a gacha game that made him declare bankruptcy.

The combo of not selling the old condo + paying movers + buying all new furnishings on credit at the exact same time was probably the largest non gacha spending fuck up. After that it's flying around the country on credit to play in qualifiers for a tournament he already qualified for.

Things had already been starting to go downwards for him, so he decides to blow all his savings to move across the country, away from friends and family that could have helped him if he lived closer, on the idea that it would be a new start for him, that everything would just turn around.

No matter how wasteful Phil is with money, he's not any worse than those who blow smoke up his arse and throw money at him. It's a shitshow that's gone on for years and years, and we've been watching it for free.

He's given up his "above it all" attitude and has dived head first into the drama dumpster. Remember his talk with Keemstar on Sidescrollers, saying he'll never associate with such an evil human being? Just last week he is happily chumming it up with him on stream. Ever since his first KC appearance it is so obvious how much he loves drama, don't know why he fought against it for so long.

WWE is the dumbest but outside of that, his move to Renton is definitely the worst financial decision he ever made.
- His stated reasons for it were more space and lower tax liability. So he picked a fairly small place in a place that has no state income tax but had a cost of living that was equal to or higher than Bridgeport. Then extra retarded because he talked about how the tech industry in Seattle was a reason to move there when that has absolutely nothing to do with what his youtube channel did. If was gonna move somewhere it should have been somewhere with a low cost of living and tax liability like South Carolina or something.
- Phil seemed to do the entire thing with extreme urgency and the entire move was very rushed. Like he only saw three places in Washington before deciding that it was it and that he was moving. Him not selling his condo or taking care of his BMW lease were the most most obvious things. Kinda lends creedence to the theory that the real reason for the move was him trying to get Leanna away from her support network as quickly as possible.
- Besides spending a boatload on moving all his crap from Conneticut, he then spent tens of thousands furnishing the Renton condo, getting a new BMW lease, and general expenses. Basically he had no budgeting and I wouldn't be surprised if the cost of the move by itself came out to like $20~$25K after the dust settled.
- He had his aunt live in his Bridgeport condo for a bit till she passed away. Phil then tried to get a management company to rent that condo out but dropped em when they tried to call him instead of emailing him. Then he proceeded to never try renting it out again.
- Then turns out he wasn't paying his taxes right and he got buttfucked for not paying business tax like he was supposed to.

I'm still catching up with the last few days, but Phil's today slapfight with Doody is so fucking dumb. It's like they're competing over who's the dumbest that they're making Jayde look like the Nobel prize of physics.
Doody is clearly salty over his demonetization and grasping at straws, but Phil's response is somehow better. From actually threatening him "you wanna play this with me?", "you keep messing with me and Keemstar will get you in trouble again" and actually slandering him by saying putting his video on the description was a call to action. If Doody and supercrzy weren't so dumb, I'd say they actually could have a case since Doody is being threatened directly if he keeps making videos. It's like watching two Will E. Coyotes trying to get the other and just fucking themselves over and over.

It was impulsive. In the vlogs around the move, Phil even said it was a rush and he was worried financially as his income was starting to slip then. Of course, luck always saves his ass.
Also, Leanna insisted they were not in a relationship until Phil moved from the CT horde and somewhere with her.

Phil has legitimately begged for his fans to pay his Federal taxes multiple times so it probably confused several retards who were wondering why he was begging for tax money in late August/September.

Ralph is a shadow of the man he once was. If this was right before Portugal I would've agreed but ever since that fateful day he's just become weaker and weaker.
Phil is consistent. Phil delivers like clockwork. He doesn't need much to be funny and doesn't need to be involved in IBS or sektur bullshitting. That's why I wager the Chemo Casito is quietly pushing them to fight. They think they've got content here by using Phil as their champion, even on a temporary basis. Once they realize he isn't gonna play ball with them, they'll distance. Phil is such a good definition of a classic lolcow because his best content comes organically.
Ralph is the kind of lolcow that thrives off of his relations with other people who have an online presence. With each loss he's taken he's shrunken more and more. He assumes Phil will be an ez W for him because these are Ralph's stomping grounds. He can't comprehend someone who is online but has distanced themself from this particular brand of behavior.
And I just think Phil is mentally in a much better place than Ralph right now. He can handle himself very well and has handled himself decently well even in the face of some really difficult things to process. He's still a lolcow, but at least he isn't running with his tail between his legs like Ralph did when he was approached by a friendly stranger in MN.
But maybe Ralph could pull off a surprise W. I just think he's too far gone to pull himself out of the hole he's buried himself in while DSP cruises on by.
