Concord - robots with pronouns

In a series about video games that are historically significant to the medium, have lasted decades and have millions of fans from different backgrounds, they were going to make an episode about the “significance” of a pozzed 2024 political tranny copy-paste hero shooter with pronouns and a three digit peak player count on launch. Utter fucking insanity and obviously only propped up by free BlackRock DEI money.
It is historically significant. It's the biggest flop since ET.

I wonder if there's one guy out there who's like punching holes in his walls and shouting "FUCK! I'll NEVER get to play this game again now! I got such high gamer ranks on it and everything!"
I know that feel:

What I don't get about "DEI", is, when I play I game, I want to play as someone look up to, if it's a fantasy game, maybe I want to be a noble warrior wielding a sword. Or if it's more in the line of Overwatch, I want to play as Soldier 76, or Mercy or whatever.
You can have heroes in your games that don't follow traditional beauty standards, but they still need something to catch onto, something to make them likeable.
You can't just have a character being a fat slob for "inclusivity".
It's sort of amazing to me how a company like sony with their massive budgets can't grasp this. I guess all they think about is money, they aren't even human anymore.

concords remaining 41 players are currently killing zem self's in a mutual suicide pact to rank up to level 100 in an effort to get the platinum trophy before the servers go offline this Friday.
This is taking place in the search and destroy game mode making the only tactical gamemode that encourages class cooperation unplayable
reality is often funnier than intentional comedy
Trannies and suicide. Going together like jam and toast.

I wonder if any of these woke "retro game community" people are going to try and buy up the physical Concord copies, thinking "IT'S GOING TO BE THE NEXT STADIUM EVENTS!"

Update: And I just got my answer. Check this out.

This is one of those games that just has a code in the case and no disc, right? It would be a shame if some enterprising individual with access to a high quality printer, a truckload of blu ray cases, and some shrink wrap were to take these losers for even more of a ride.

Eat the rich, black lady front and center, yep it's basically the same shit, I wonder how far along they are and how much they'll lose on this one.

Bingo.

Overall it just looks like a clone of Payday, which was on Xbox Games Pass. They are trying to build up their subscription slop trough. The masked guys at the end and their whole aesthetic coupled with the title make me think there is some sort of 'Squid Games' inspiration here. A shadowy org putting them up to these heists or w/e.

It will definitely flop but I don't know if they will pull it because it's probably hosted P2P and not costing them big money to keep running.

I looked up that article out of morbid curiosity. This is some grade A salt from the mine.

The anti-wokes are celebrating yet another dubious victory as new data shows that global investments in ethical companies have nosedived by nearly $5 trillion over the past two years.

The Global Sustainable Investment Alliance (GSIA) on Wednesday reported that the total value of sustainable assets has shrunk from $35.3 trillion in 2020 to a mere $30.3 trillion in 2022. S&P Global Clean Energy Index reports a 30% fall in 2023. The United States alone has seen assets in ESG funds plunge 50.5%, from over $17 trillion to a meager $8.4 trillion.

ESG, short for environmental, social, and governance, refers to a set of ethical standards guiding investors on how to place their money so as to minimize harm. While funding wind farms and equity seems universally appealing, right-wingers argue that these initiatives “oppress” white males.

The repercussions of the anti-ESG downturn have not been felt uniformly. Investors of color bear a disproportionately heavy burden as they are more likely than white folks to invest in companies aligned with ethical and sustainable practices. These are, after all, the companies that are also willing to affirm that non-white lives matter.

While anti-ESG sentiment erodes financial portfolios of color, it also undermines our collective efforts to promote positive change through responsible investing. And the broader implications suggest an ever widening gap in wealth and opportunity, as losses to portfolios of color only exacerbate existing disparities.

Let’s be clear about where to put the blame. Conservative lawmakers, driven by an irrational culture of anti-woke hysteria, have actively taken measures to resist the incorporation of ESG principles into business and investing. This opposition has manifested in legislative efforts across multiple states, from Florida to Utah, where lawmakers are pushing back against the injection of ethics into the financial sector.

The anti-woke hysteria driving them finds its origins in unmoderated online communities, most notably hate platforms like 4chan and X. Bitter young males — often incels — from these darkweb sites are brutally enforcing a vast online alt-right echo chamber, effectively drowning out more rational voices. This shapes not only public discourse but also the policy decisions of conservative lawmakers eager to put harmful online ideas into legal practice.

The hate from these groups has picked up steam with the tanking of Anheuser-Busch, and is often controlled by extremist statements from alt-right leaders and podcasters. 4chan and X erupted in celebration on Wednesday when Elon Musk spread a dangerous advertisement-related conspiracy theory about a Jewish man while on the New York Times DealBook Summit stage.

Outside of a few token efforts, the powerful ripple effects of these online ideologies on real-world policies is something that has not been grappled with. And far too many are still afraid to call the phenomenon what it is: terrorism.

Because it is terrorism, as uncomfortable as the implications may be. MSNBC agrees:

So that’s the status update, my dear Afrunauts. Our planet and its future is now basically held hostage by young males recruited into 4chan’s hate army by Elon Musk and extremist online podcasters like Joe Rogan and Tim Pool.

Where do we go from here?

Economic thinkers like Hasan Piker suggest one short-term solution for revitalizing ESG could involve ethical investment requirements for funds, ETFs, and 401(k) plans. Such a mandate could function as a booster shot in the arm of ethical financial interests, aligning global capital with sustainable and equitable societal goals.

Will it happen?

Not unless reasonable people get together and create their own lawmaker-influencing echo chambers to counter theirs. A tall proposition.

Ultimately, we’ll have to deal with the terrorists. Our planet is now at stake.

P.S. support great journalism of color by buying our swag:

heres some salt from concord's "fans" (OBVIOUS SHILLS). a lot of been hearing from their defenders is that people who refused or didn't play are "LITERAL FASCISTS!!!" or "the people who developed this game will lose their jobs!!!!". to be fair. that sounds like a you issue and your crappy devs should have made a better game instead of nigger tranny garbage that everyone would forget.

Amazing. Those two Steam users don't have a mouse icon. So they don't even own the game. Just like I imagine that not a single one of the reeetards on ReeesetEra have bought the game.

Or did the refunds already happen?

The problem is that creating a fantasy worth realizing requires sincere passion on behalf of the artists and the devs who have to approximate what the artists create. The warrior who wears the ugly battle scars he's earned through years of fighting is a fantasy that strikes a chord with everyone. The intensity of that sort of thing might disturb you depending on how realistically rendered it is, but there's plenty of room for sympathy or respect or feeling like that guy must be a fucking badass. You don't have to be a victim of any disfigurements to get it.
The wheelchair bound obese mulatto xey/xem with polka dot skin pigmentation and a hook hand doesn't elicit anything but disgust, so your only possible reaction is to be disturbed unless you actually look like a fat retard tranny in a wheelchair in irl which is highly unlikely. It's totally backwards. If they wanna be inclusive you should be making these things look less lame than they are in real life, not more lame than is possible.
