A Redditor claiming to be a parent of a student has been sharing some small details, including confirming that some of the injuries reported are due to the heat. She also refers to the shooter as male, but that could mean nothing. They're also asking for takeout to be delivered.

No they stfu because it was confirmed the shooter was 14 and the media knows it’s hands will be tied because of the shooters age. Even if they get lots of info they will be very limited on what they can legally publish and will have to run it by legal, which greatly slows down the grist mill. The US has suffered at least 385 mass shootings so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive, which defines mass shootings as those in which four or more victims are shot.

That’s an average of more than 1.5 mass shootings every day so far this year.

The 385 mass shootings include Wednesday’s deadly rampage at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia. At least four people were killed and at least nine people were hospitalized with injuries, according to authorities.

The FBI has not set a minimum number of casualties to qualify an event as a mass shooting, but U.S. statute (the Investigative Assistance for Violent Crimes Act of 2012) defines a “mass killing” as “3 or more killings in a single incident.”

I've uploaded the csv file you can download. This list includes shootings that had 0-2 deaths. So if we remove all those, the us has only had 40 mass shooting events. Most of them in June and July.
