My thought is this is an example of confessing to a lesser transgression to cover up a major crime.
No one really cared about Phil playing WWEC. No one really cared if he spent money. It's the bankruptcy fraud and possible tax fraud that's the issue. It's the spending on WWEC when he was begging for food and rent.
Another favorite manipulation tactics is making claims without providing any evidence. If Phil really sold the account, there would be receipts. Communications between the buyer and Phil. But we don't get that. Instead we get, "Just trust me bro." Phil could have shown the evidence to someone else who Phil trusted and that person could have vouched the evidence. But, no, Phil couldn't do that.
Phil is still a manipulative greaseball liar, and I don't believe him when he says he sold the account. I hope the IRS gets to him.
