I think Nick got off on the credit he got for teaching Sunday school and being someone people trusted to teach their kids. This was reinforced when he streamed as a Trad Dad. He was likely in church for the sake of Kayla and her family, and had a very shallow (if any) belief in God.

He doesn’t have the humility to pay Monty or to take the slap on the wrist for literally getting caught with cocaine. What makes you think he has the humility to repent for his other sins?
